Surfaris Retreat has the space and facilities to keep the entire celebration together. The Paperbark Chapel provides a leafy outdoor ceremony setting, while the reception lawn suits long-table dining and marquee celebrations. Drinks can continue beside the pool and Tiki Bar, with the covered timber deck providing another inviting space for dining, music and dancing. The shared areas also give guests plenty of room to spend time together across the four-night stay.

The venue offers couples greater freedom around suppliers, catering and the format of the celebration. Its commercial kitchen, café, bar and cool room support a range of food and beverage plans. Couples can bring in their preferred suppliers or ask the Surfaris team to assist with catering, drinks, entertainment, coordination and event details. Packages can be tailored around the level of support required, giving each wedding a well-organised foundation while leaving room for original ideas.

Raised in small coastal towns, Xahlia and Brenden felt naturally drawn to Crescent Head and Surfaris. They began rebuilding the property in 2020 and married here themselves in 2022. After plenty of battle scars and adventures, they now love sharing this special place with other couples. From bush to beach, Surfaris is made for laid-back wedding weekends—styled up or stripped back to suit your vision and budget.
