Perched atop a towering hill, this secluded wedding venue boasts impressive, uninterrupted views over the vast countryside. And while taking in the gorgeous scenery, you’ll see where the pasture meets the lush Kuranda rainforest, offering the best of both worlds - country meets the tropics. It’s a completely unique space fit for a lovely wedding.

As it often goes with beautiful locations, there are many stunning sites to take wedding photos and to host your wedding ceremony at Kurcow Farm. From the sprawling lawn to the elevated deck (ideal should bad weather strike), each rustic space can be dressed up or down, and will suit any style of wedding or theme. Receptions, on the other hand, are either held on the sunset deck or marquee dining room. Both of these spaces are an inviting place to retreat to after canapes in the beer garden, and are perfect for elegant three-course dinners, banquets, and delicious wedding cake desserts

Hello! I am the Wedding Coordinator for KUR-Cow. A little about me, I am a Cairns local and have been in the hospitality business for 10+ years. I have been with KUR-Cow since day one and am lucky enough to be able to offer such an amazing property to our future brides and grooms. FAQ

Where is KUR-Cow and how can my guests and I get there?

We are located in Myola, just 35min from Cairns City and 7min from Kuranda Village. We have bus packages available to transport guests or they are more than welcome to drive as well.

Will there be wet weather options?

Yes, we have a few back up options available. But did you know it actually a sign of good luck to rain on a special day ;-)

Are dogs allowed to join in on the day?

Yes, your fur child is more than welcome as long as they are on a lead. We do have wondering chickens, ducks, horses, cattle and a few other fun things to chase so we dont want to tempt them.

Do you have accommodation?

Yes, we do have a few double ensuite cabins available. We also have caravan and camp sites available.

We dealt with Sharon at Kurcow Barnwell Farm when planning our wedding day in September 2020. Being the venues very first wedding, we were quiet nervous about how it would all come together. Sharon did an amazing job with bringing our vision to life and being there every step of the way, nothing was ever too much trouble. She truly did go above and beyond for us and we will always be grateful to her for this. We would definitely recommend other couples to explore Kurcow as a wedding venue, you will not be disappointed.

I’d never find the friendships throughout a planning stage of my life as I have when booking with KURCOW. They are practically family to me. They valued my opinions so much, they listened to everything I was dreaming of, they made sure things were possible when I didn’t think they could be. The service was just absolutely phenomenal and food was absolutely the yummiest I’ve ever tasted. They looked after us and my guest on the night the entire time and made sure we were having the best time of our lives. Our wedding day was just absolutely perfect and everything I had wanted. I won’t be recommending anyone else but this venue for any brides I come across. It’s become a home to us now, and I’m sure we will be visiting for many year more. Megan
