We recently held our wedding at Epping Events and were really impressed. The planning process was smooth, with clear communication and genuinely helpful staff who knew what they were doing. We were drawn to the all-inclusive packages and felt that it made our jobs much easier as so many finer details were included. The team, especially Adriana, genuinely seemed to care about getting things right and making our day perfect and the food was absolutely the stand out - all our guests commented how it was delicious. Should the bride stay there the night before?

Just for a different perspective, there are actually some lovely benefits to getting ready at home (or your parents' home) if that’s an option for you.

  • No last-minute packing or moving things – everything’s already where you need it, nothing is forgotten! 
  • A relaxed vibe, with everything at hand 
  • Sleep in your own bed and wake up feeling rested, you've got a big day ahead! 
  • Easy access to anything you might need – whether it’s a printer, scissors, emails or calls
  • Saves money if you're on a wedding budget! 
  • Sentimental value – leaving from your childhood home can be a beautiful, symbolic moment for you and your family and makes for some truly special photos (including those shots with the family pets!) 

Of course, if you can stay somewhere the night before, go for it! But don’t feel pressure to do so – there are many perks to starting the day in a space that feels familiar, comfortable and full of meaning.

In a positive change for venue operators, the NSW Government has / is reducing curfews and old capacity limits, introduced Special Entertainment Precincts, and strengthened noise complaint systems to better protect both venues and genuine resident concerns. New residents now move in with eyes wide open, making it more difficult to shut down or complain about established venues over noise which is great news for all operators! 

That said, if your dream venue doesn’t allow you to kick on late, starting early can still create the same celebration vibe - and even the most party wild brides do tire eventually!!! Good luck with your planning!!

Hi! I'm planning a wedding for 2026/2027 and trying to get indicative costs. What is included in a package? What is not? Melbourne / Victoria We're looking at around 130 guests, with the round tables ++ Dance floor and DJ

  • What styling elements are included?

Another great question to ask is: Can I add my own touches to your all-inclusive package? The answer should always be yes – with support from a network of trusted suppliers to help bring your ideas to life.
