Can we have our ceremony on site?

The Post Office Hotel

YES! Rather than interrupt the festivities between ceremony and reception, keep the party going by exchanging vows on our leafy Deck. The Deck is the perfect location for a relaxed, garden style ceremony with the added benefit of protection from Melbourne's unpredictable weather. With private access via the rear entrance for your walk down the aisle, The Deck can seat up to 30 guests in a church style arrangement with the remaining guests to stand. After congratulations, the bridal party can leave to take photographs whilst your guests continue to mingle on the Deck. Alternately we have many beautiful onsite locations that you are more than welcome to utilise for photo shoots.

What time can suppliers start decorating the space?

Our staff can be onsite from 10am to greet your suppliers and begin styling the space. Whether you choose to let the room's architectural features speak for themselves, or dress the space with your own personal touch, our dedicated event staff are here to ensure every detail is carried out to perfection.

Do you allow live music?

Absolutely! We love bands and are licenced for live music until 11pm, at this time you can switch it up with a DJ or a tailor made playlist to finish off your celebrations!

Is The Post Office Hotel child friendly?

Yes! If you wish to bring children along to your wedding, we offer a number of menu options for kids attending. Starting at $5 per head for shared platters, your littlest guests will be well looked after.

YES! There is ramp access up to the deck and into the Dining Hall with accessible bathrooms available in the space.

It is hard to imagine a better wedding venue than the Post Office hotel. Jen and Emma have event management down to a fine art and the cost of the reception was very competitive. The food was delicious, and our guests said it was the best wedding food they had ever had.

The venue was beautiful. The event manager was amazing. The food and service was stellar. I could not have asked for a better wedding venue. All my friends and family loved the Post Office Hotel.

As soon as I saw pictures of the Post Office Hotel, I knew we had to visit and see if the venue was right for us. From the minute we met Jen and Caitlin, we knew we couldn't get married anywhere else. I cannot begin to put into words how appreciative we are of the amazing organisation, commitment and thoughtfulness that they put into helping us plan our special day. They both made something that can be an enormous task, seem easy and actually enjoyable! The venue itself was incredibly beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The food was absolutely outstanding and everyone was raving about how fabulous it was and how they wished they could have more! We had our dream wedding day and it was all because of Jen and Caitlin and the incredible staff at tThe Post Office Hotel.

I just want to say a HUGE thank you to @pohevents for making our wedding day the absolute best day ever! We have had so many compliments saying that it was the perfect venue and it truly was. Every stage of the planning was made so easy and fun and all of the event managers were amazing! An extra big shout out to Jen who constantly went above and beyond. From playing our music over the speakers to letting us spontaneously rehearse our dance, to getting me contact solution during speeches because I cried makeup in to my contacts and blinded myself in one eye, to offering me the shoes off her own feet when I took mine off after pulling a muscle (I didn’t accept even though they were excellent leopard print boots) and generally making sure that every aspect of the evening ran smoothly. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We could not have chosen a more perfect venue. I know a lot of weddings are being cancelled and postponed now but if you are getting married in the future, I can not recommend @poh3058 highly enough because it is the absolute BEST venue there is

It so exciting getting our wedding photos and getting to re-live the amazing day! We just want to thank you again for all your hard work behind the scenes for our wedding. You were absolutely incredible from the moment we looked at the venue, booking, through to the big day! Jazara absolutely killed it on the big day, Dom is a little tired of me saying how great she is! She is so made for this job. I just felt like she was one of our guests on the day!! And loved catching her in some of our photos. A BIG thank you to you Jazara. We had so many comments on how great the food was, how easy it was to get a drink... and every time we turned around our drink was full! Which was amazing (and slightly dangerous! haha). I've put together a folder of photos that I thought you guys might like to see. Feel free to use them for marketing purposes or just to get a kick out of. We love your venue so much and we're so excited to come for dinner once all this craziness is over. We are sooooo grateful to get our wedding in just in time! Our wedding will forever be the pre-covid last hoorah.

Jazara & The Post Office team were fantastic to work with. They were very organised and covered every base. We could not fault their organisation and professionalism. They tended to all our needs and those of our guests. We received so many compliments on the service and atmosphere created. We had our ceremony on the deck, family lunch and then later in the evening a large party reception. Every step was managed to perfection. We would not hesitate in recommending them for a wedding or any event!

Fantastic! Jen was our wedding coordinator and she was great with organising it with us and was always accommodating. The space is beautiful and hardly needed any decorations, once booked it was like we didn't have to worry about anything else. Food was amazing.

The deck was lovely. We had a small intimate wedding. It was beautiful. The guests loved it! We were really happy with the food. It was one of the big things we got a lot of feedback on from our guests!

The Post Office Hotel was awesome. The layout and set up was great, the food was delicious, the staff were amazing and very flexible. Working with them was simple. They were competitively priced which allowed us to have a decent sized sit down wedding (120) with a good vibe.

The team at the Post Office Hotel know how to ensure a fantastic wedding. From Ally as the organiser to the team behind the bar, the kitchen and waiting staff, no question was to much trouble to answer. The food and service was extraordinary, the drinks were fantastic with a wide selection to choose from. The planning of the wedding from the start was trouble free and so easy with all their insight and knowledge on what works and how they can go above and beyond to make the day special. Love love love the day at the POH, thanks again to everyone

Unreal space with a wicked team who made the night roll super smoothly! Ally and Shaun were brilliant - no issues at all. So flexible and accommodating. Food was amazing, as was the drink. Couldn't have had a better night.

A fantastic venue! Ally the event planner was amazing and our wedding was seamless. The food was fantastic and everyone commented on how fantastic the food and venue and drinks selection was. We couldn't have found a better venue for our wedding. Ally and her staff were amazing in ensuring that they touched base before, during and after the wedding. She even saved me from a hair disaster by lending me some of her amazing texture powder before I walked down the aisle! The food and drink was amazing and the extras that were available really added the finishing touches to our night. We wanted a massive party full of food, drink and laughter, and that's exactly what we got. I really couldn't recommend a better place to get married. Thank-you so much!

We held our wedding reception at The Post Office Hotel and have to say that it was the most wonderful night, made so by Ally and her wonderful team. Food was simply stunning and a,l the guests are still raving about how much fun they had (as did we!)
