How long does it take to plan a wedding?!

I want to get married ASAP! How do I go about this?! Aiming for before the end of the year, but the earlier the better.

Hi Marissa Rawlins

This can be done in a minimum of 6-8 weeks this will allow time for everything to be planned. If you are a very organised person you will be able to pull it off. I recommend working with a wedding planner to be sure that everything is touched within the planning process to be sure that all servies and vendors are alsoo available.

Great question Marissa. Like the other responses it can take as little or as long as you need depending on a range of factors. Our specialty is working with clients who are not so good at the organisation piece and usually within tight time frames. If you need a hand or would like some help please contact Claudia or myself Daniella.

Hey Marissa,

General speaking wedding planning process can take a year and this is "normal" time frame for both parties. However you can squish your planning process into 3-6 months, the bottom line is make sure to give your celebrant 4 weeks to register your paperwork. By the way, winter here is not peak season, you might get easier to book your venue, vendors and other wedding suppliers.

Good luck for your wedding planning.

Hi Marissa, planning a wedding can take as long as you want it to. If you are organised then you can plan this as quickly as possible. As long as the vendors/venue are all available on your chosen date, then things can move really quickly. Feel free to get in touch if you need any help with planning. We have a few packages that incorporate a range of important vendors to help make the process quick and easy. Thank you - Brittany
