All the previous responses have been great. A couple of other tips:

- Check with your photographer about the best time to do the portraits

- Allow plenty of time for congratulations and family photos

- With almost everything, build in time buffers of time in case anything runs behind schedule

- With hair and make up, and getting dressed, plan for all this to be done 1 hour before the ceremony. You will want some time to just take a breath, spend time with bridesmaids and family, and enjoy the moment before seeing your husband to be at the alter. Believe me, this last hour goes by so quick!

Hope this helps.

Congratulations!!

Make sure you take some time out to just be with your new spouse!

The day is a whirl wind of excitement and is jam packed with what needs to be done.

Even just a nice quite 10 min walk together before the wedding party returns to the receiption.

The day is after all about the two of you but you will likely not be alone once thru the day unless you make it happen.

All the best and have an amzing day.

Hi Guys

The best advice i can give you is to ensure that all vendors are on the same page.

Photographers need to know where to be and when to be there - please check with them before you set a timeline that they may not be able to keep up with, particular if they don't have a second shooter.

Right from the start of the day, they need to know  the make-up artist's timelines. Start, finish, completion of the bride's make-up etc. Also, don't forget to confirm your bouquet delivery with your florist. If they are delivering flowers to your venue in the afternoon, a seperate delivery fee may be applied for the personal flowers earlier in the morning.

Another tip, and one that will avoid many details being overlooked -  ensure that the MC, the DJ and Photographer are all informed about the running of the events throughtout the evening. They will need a running sheet to work from.

Leave nothing to chance. Lots of advance planning is the key. It's never too early to start on a time line.

My dear Bride,

Congrats first of all and enjoy this beautiful journey.

Your wedding day timeline should have enough time for everything and maybe extra time for possible unexpected delays: make up traffic, etc.

Make sure there is enough time between food courses at the reception. Food must be served, guests must have enough time to eat without beeing rushed by waiters that want to clear everything before the speeches.

Try to allow enough time for speeches. Sometimes they can take more than expected which is not a bad thing but may delay everything else. A good coordinator will pick up and save time somewhere else, however this must be considered.

Maybe make a note on the timeline for the couple to eat. This is something that is forgotten and to be honest it is very important.

...and have fun! Enjoy your day!

Warm regards,

Alexandra
