Sarah Brophy Events can do as much or as little as you need, with experience in ceremonies, wedding planning, entertainment, styling and on the day coordination whilst adding style and flare! We can also assist with hens and bux parties and weekend get away's!

With over 20 years experience in event management Sarah can create your dream wedding. Her connections within the hospitality industry assist her to organise the best venues, musicians, photographers and stylist in Melbourne. She really takes the time to ensure you enjoy every second of the journey. Sarah has strong attention to detail and focuses on creating events that are creative and memorable.

Where do I even begin!! 5 stars are not enough for this incredible lady, she is just a delight! Sarah made the whole wedding experience so easy. From the first meeting with Sarah, I felt so comfortable, she was incredibly helpful and organised and provided advice when needed without being pushy at all! We got married in December last year. We had no experience in organising events and wanted our wedding day to be perfect so we called Sarah to see if she could help us out. Our big day was absolutely perfect all thanks to Sarah. She was instrumental in helping us achieve our dream. With an established Melbourne events network, Sarah helped us find the perfect venue for our numbers, she gathered multiple quotes and present a final list of recommendations to us. Is this weird? I feel strange about it!

A wedding is a really special day and something that we want to celebrate with everyone that is special to us. But it is also a really expensive day and so you can't always invite everyone you want to. We are also living in COVID times so numbers for receptions have had to be reduced.

Additional friends and work colleagues will often ask if it is OK to come and watch the ceremony knowing that they are not invited to the reception. You shouldn't feel weird about it. Everyone loves a wedding and watching two people that you know 'Say I do' fills your heart with joy.

It is also OK to say that you would prefer for them not to attend but at the end of the day if you have a venue that can easily cater for a couple of additional people during the ceremony then you should ask yourself - why not?

How can I incorporate something special at the end of the ceremony?

At the last wedding we organised the bride and groom both took part in a Champagne sabrage (Cutting the top off a champagne bottle with a sword) and then poured a champagne tower!

This created excitement and some amazing photo opportunities.
