Yes! At Perfectly Planned By Jess we make our clients our number one priority. We want you to feel comfortable with us which is why you will have the same wedding planner throughout the entire planning process and on the day (if you opt for day of coordination). I believe that by having the same wedding planner throughout it makes the whole experience feel more personal and special.

Can you create a custom package that is more suited to us?

Yes! How early should couples start planning their wedding?

The moment that ring goes on your finger and you get engaged- just kidding... but also not really. Ideally couples should start planning their wedding at least 12 months in advance. This is because venues and other highly sought-after vendors book out extremely quickly. It is also important to set a budget early on in your engagement to ensure that you are on track to have an amazing wedding that will not break the bank (too much).

Why should I hire a wedding planner?

Planning a wedding can be a stressful and time-consuming experience. While some couples enjoy planning and the process of planning a wedding, other couples prefer to leave this up to a wedding planner so that they can simply enjoy being engaged and this time in their lives. By hiring a wedding planner, it saves you time and money whilst allowing you to bring your plans and vision to life. Perfectly Planned By Jess can assist with bringing your wedding day to life by providing you with piece of mind to deliver one of the most special days of your life.

Do you work with same-sex couples?

Yes of course! I am a strong advocate of marriage equality and passionately believe that love is love no matter whom you are marrying.

Can you assist us with planning a wedding outside SEQ or a destination wedding?

Yes! I can assist couples wanting to get married Australia-wide. I offer planning services and am happy to travel for day of coordination at any location (travel fees apply).

Will you work with our chosen vendors or do you have your own?

I am very happy to do both. I will work with any vendor you choose, and I do also have a great selection of vendors that I can recommend. One of the great bonuses about working with a wedding planner, like myself, is that I have access to great deals from suppliers which are not normally offered to couples.

My venue already has a coordinator, why do I need your help too?

One of the biggest misunderstanding with regarding to planning is that the venue coordinator and wedding planner do the same job- this is wrong. A wedding planner, like myself, is someone who you hire to advocate and represent your best interests in planning your dream wedding. Whereas the venue coordinator represents the venue and generally offer minimum involvement in planning your wedding outside of the venue. The venue coordinator should be able to assist you with inquiries and planning regarding the venue, food, and drinks, whilst leaving other vendors up to you to find and coordinate. By hiring an outside wedding planner, they can assist you with the entire process from start to finish including searching for and coordinating all your vendors.

Which suppliers need to come to the wedding rehearsal?

What needs to be rehearsed at the rehearsal dinner? Do suppliers get involved or is it mainly for the wedding party?

Hello, usually the wedding rehersal is a practice run for yourselves and your wedding party with your celebrant. As such, in most cases the only supplier at the rehersal is the celebrant, unless you want it photographed or videoed.
