Creating and design has been a passion of myself from a young age. Our team's aim is to show you how unique your wedding or event can be. After I start studying with the UK Wedding Academy I knew I found my passion. As founder of Je T'aime Events Design & Styling I can use my business management skills and creative side to plan and create the most memorable experience , and as a team we can't wait to be part of your special day and to work with you and our vendors to make your vision come true.

Do people send thank you cards anymore?

In todays life everyone is so busy to forget the small things that make people happy. Most guest would love receiving a thank you card it will make them feel very special. It does not have to be an exspensive card , a handwriten card is very personal.

I do always advise my Couples to remember the thank you cards for personal touch at the end, even if you send it later after you and your partner enjoyed your special time.

How do wedding planners work?

Dear Bride

Congratulations on your engament. Wedding planners are the team of professionals that can take the stress from the couple getting married.

There are diffrent pacages of services that can be offered. The normal procedures is the lucky couple meet with the Wedding planner for a consultant meeting, to discuss the service the couple want to use. When they agree on a consept and services needed, a contract will be signed and the planner start planning your wedding making your experience stress free. Most planners already have a large Vendor list they would suggest to use, can negotiate better prices on contracts.

Service usual can include:

Full planning ( this include right from the start the planner basic do everything, the couple make the decisions after the planner show them all the options they found for the consept the couple decided on. The planners main purpose is to spend the time looking for the Venue, vendors, meeting with them , working on best price from Vendors , logisics , contracts being paid, making sure all the boxes for the big day has been ticked, even the smallest details. On the day coordination, giving the couple the peace of mind to enjoy the day without stressing about timelines, vendors ect.

Wedding planners can do special pacakages that cover less planning, like if the couple want to do a lot of DIY and the planner just overseas all the final planning, and coordinate the day of the wedding.

Our company are Wedding planners, design a consept and styling of your wedding.

There are Wedding planners that only do the planning and would use another professional to do the Design of a consept and Styler to style the wedding.

I need help, should I have kids or no kids at the wedding?

To the special couple

Congratulations on your engagement and special time ahead. This is a very touchy question for a lot of couples. There are a few factors to concider when looking at the guest list and if there are a few families that have kids that might have to be included or not. As we always say to couples it depend on who your are, some couples are very family orintated and if this is you , having your guest kids there can create a very special family event.

Things to concider is:

Cost of Venue per head and will the Catering or Venue give you discount for the kids
Location of Venue, if in a luxury hotel the cost will be high, if a DIY or outside garden venue the cost might be lower and it can be in the budget.
Will there be entertainment for the Kids like special artist ect for them not to get bored (this is easy to arrange by your event planner and if your don't have one, there are a few companies out there you could contac, if you do want special family members with kid there) a crech for the smaller can be orginised.
You can always have an age cut off on the kids you concider to have part of the guest list, like from an age that is more likely to enjoy an adult wedding, 12 years and up, this way atleast you do include some of the family members, most couples that is envited to an wedding usually want to enjoy the night and would orginise for their smaller kids to stay with someone els.

Overall you as a couple should have a good discussion and a look at how many kids are part of the guest list, and concider all points , then make an plan of actions. Just remember this is your day as a couple and your decission come first, family member should respect your decission what ever it may be.
