Planning a wedding involves a lot of moving parts – and that’s where I come in. I work with couples who have planned most of the wedding themselves, and in the final weeks, I work with them to fine-tune the logistics and timing of the ceremony and/or reception. On the day, I manage and support suppliers, oversee setup, coordinate timings to ensure your event runs smoothly, and handle any last-minute issues so you can relax and truly enjoy your celebration, stress-free.

I specialise in supporting couples planning DIY weddings – perfect for those organising a lot of the wedding detail themselves, providing their own decorations, and bringing their own drinks and/or food. My bartending services (basic bar and cocktails) support couples planning to BYO drinks, and my catering support services help with serving food provided by various suppliers, purchased from restaurants, or homecooked – ideal for couples looking for budget-friendly, versatile support.

Wedding Coordinator Services
As your on-the-day Wedding Coordinator, I take care of all the behind-the-scenes logistics to ensure your day runs smoothly from start to finish. My services typically include:

• Managing and supporting suppliers on the day
• Overseeing venue setup, including furniture layout, decorations, and signage
• Supporting the celebrant or priest with the bridal party’s arrival and cueing music if needed
• Ushering and assisting guests
• Keeping the event running to schedule, e.g. cueing musicians and prompting speech-givers
• Handling any unexpected issues or last-minute changes
• Assisting with pack-down and bump-out

In the lead-up to your wedding, I’ll work closely with you to review your plans, confirm supplier expectations, refine the run sheet, and walk through the venue(s) to finalise ceremony and reception timings and setup details.

Bartending and Catering Support Packages
If you’re planning to supply your own drinks and food and need staff to help serve – or to assist with other tasks such as cutting your wedding cake, packing up grazing tables, and keeping your event spaces clean and tidy – LinStar Events has a professional team to support your DIY wedding. Support includes:

• Two online consultations to review your drinks and/or food menus, discuss service timings, and provide advice to assist with planning
• Full setup and pack-down of the bar, including repacking leftover drink supplies
• All required bartending and cocktail-making equipment
• Champagne bowls and tubs for displaying and chilling drinks
• Provision of glassware, including champagne flutes and coupes, stemmed wine glasses, and tumblers
• Cutting and serving the wedding cake, and packing up leftover catering (e.g. grazing stations)
• Maintaining tidy event spaces and clearing rubbish throughout the event
