You don’t need to know how to pose. Heather and the team use gentle direction so you can relax, enjoy your people and still get the portraits you love.
Golden Moments is A$3,800 for six hours with two photographers, 500+ edited photographs and a private online gallery. Shorter celebrations and longer coverage are also available. Wedding film is available as a separate add-on; ask about drone options too.

Hi, I’m Heather, the photographer behind Port Picture Co. I’ve been working with cameras for more than 15 years, and one of the things I care about most is making people feel comfortable in front of them. You do not need to know how to pose or be “good at photos.” I’ll guide you when you need it, keep things relaxed and make sure the photographs still feel like you.

Heather is the lead photographer behind Port Picture Co and is personally involved in planning your wedding photography. If additional photographers or filmmakers are part of your package, we’ll introduce the team and make everything clear before the wedding.

Absolutely. Most couples tell us this! We use simple prompts and relaxed direction rather than stiff posing. Your complimentary engagement shoot also means you’ll already know exactly what working with us feels like before the wedding.
It is a relaxed pre-wedding photography session designed to help us get to know each other and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. You’ll also receive a beautiful collection of photographs from the session.
Yes. We offer wedding photography and cinematic wedding films, with drone options available where permitted. Photography collections and cinematic wedding film are priced separately. Tell us whether you want photography, film or both, and your quote will set out exactly what is included.
Golden Moments and The Forever Collection include 500+ hand-edited photographs. Shorter collections have their own inclusions. Your quote will confirm the coverage and image allowance for your collection. Every delivered photograph is individually selected and professionally edited.
We send sneak peeks shortly after the wedding, followed by your complete professionally edited gallery.
Your final photographs are delivered through a beautiful online gallery where you can view, download and share your wedding collection with family and friends.
Yes. We photograph weddings across Port Macquarie, the Mid North Coast, Newcastle, the Hunter Valley, Byron Bay and beyond.
Rain does not ruin wedding photography. We’ll work with the conditions, adjust locations and timing where needed and use the weather creatively. We also help you think through backup options before the wedding if the forecast looks unpredictable.
Yes. Professional wedding coverage should never rely on a single piece of equipment. We photograph weddings with backup equipment and a careful file-backup process to protect your images.
Not every wedding does. For larger weddings, multiple preparation locations or weddings where lots is happening at the same time, a second photographer can be extremely valuable. We’ll recommend one if we believe it will genuinely improve your coverage.
Once you’re ready to go ahead, we’ll send through your booking agreement and deposit details.
Yes. We work with you before the wedding to plan the photography around your ceremony, light, locations and the parts of the day that matter most to you. We want photography to fit around your wedding, not take it over.
