I am a Mum of 3 of the most incredible kids that are my world, Not biased in the slightest of course! As a young girl I assisted my dad at Weddings and this sparked my genuine love of Wedding Photography. FAQ
Most of our couples book us up to 12-24 months in advance, however we have been booked in as little as 4 weeks if we have your date available. Naomi is our main photographer and you will be booking your wedding with her. If we have an enquiry for a date that she is booked, we will offer our other two photographers and happily show you their work to be sure you are happy to stay with us. Our team all have a very similar look and feel to our work so when going through our albums, you will not be able to pick the difference between our styles. However you will be aware upon enquiry who your photographer would be if our main photographer is booked.
No, we do not. We delete double up images, test shots, missed focus and any that have you or your guests with bad expressions. If we are shooting in low light we tend to take more shots to make sure we have the perfect lighting and focus. Through our time as Wedding Photographers we have learnt how to deliver less images that are the best and showcase your day beautifully rather better than give our clients an over whelming amount of photos that they then need to go through. We will supply you a gallery full of images that truly reflect the joy and emotion of your day.
In short, no. We only specialize in Photography and are constantly honing our craft. We work with several other vendors and are more than happy to recommend you to ones we know will give you a great service. Please contact us for details.
We have been doing weddings professionally for 3 years. We have had enjoyed covering a range of venues throughout the Perth area but have not covered each one. A new venue for us is something we really enjoy. Sometimes we will visit the place with our couple and go for a walk around to discuss where we all feel will be the best spots, and there is a lot of research done prior to your day in regards positions, lighting and other factors that we consider important to get the best out of your day. If it is a venue we have been to before, we like to try different options each time so that your wedding is unique to any others we have done. Feel free to ask us if we have covered your venue and will be more than happy to go for a walk through with you and work out ideas you have for your venue.
We are considered to be traditional, photojournalism photographers. Our goal is to help tell your story of how your day was. We love exploring unique and creative looks, trying different angles and lighting to capture individual personalities. Following your day our editing process is designed to reflect our cleints personalities while bringing their story to life. Your day can be overwhelming for so many reasons and the last thing we want to do as your photographers is drag out your day with a long and boring photo session. Your photographers are with you more than any other vendor, so our goal is to give our Bridal couple and their attendants an experience that is fun and relaxing, we are quick with a joke and elove helping your day fly by with memories of laughter and fun
Of course! We don't have our full galleries displayed online as we often deliver up to 1000 images for each wedding. Any new cleints are always welcome to come to our home studio in Aveley and scroll through any of our previous weddings and see the qualities of our work and what we deliver to our clients. Please contact us if you would like to arrange a viewing date.
Absolutely! We hate to think that your beautiful images will end up sitting hidden in a computer so most of our current packages include products of some sort. All our packages inlcude a $200 print credit that you can use towards our different printing options. Our most popular product is our Designer Crystal Album. It is an 11x 14" album with your favourite photo on the front with a heavy cut crystal cover. It includes 16 pages with Luster Paper. Each Crystal Album comes with a free Presentation Box to store your album safely. We also offer parent albums, Acrylics, Canvases and more. Feel free to enquire about what you might be looking for. If we currently do not offer it, we will happily source it for you. We use several Professional printing companies and will only hand over work when we are satisifed it is to our own high standard.
YES! And we love it! A very popular item is Bridal Boudoir. We have packages for weddings that include a Bridal Boudior session or can offer it on it's own. Our sessions are held in our Home Studio in Aveley. You will receive professional hair and makeup then a private one on one session with Naomi. We have a stunning bed that was specifically purchased for these type of sessions as well as other props including a white chaise and silver high backed, wing chair. After your session you choose the images you love the most and they are set out in a personalized 8x8" album. You can reivew it in the privacy of your home and make any adjustments regarding photo, layout and accessories. Most of our brides love to have our 2nd Photographer "gift" the album to their groom the morning of the wedding. We arrange for your groom to privately open your gift and capture his expressions as he goes through your beautiful photos. You session can include all your bridal lingerie and accessories and you are welcome to have up to 2 other outfit changes. Feel free to ask us for more information.
We shoot all our images in RAW format. That is the best format for editing and adjusting images to get the best result. After we have loaded your images we save them to 2 separate external Hard drives. We then edit each photo individually. This includes exposure adjustment, selecting black and white photos, colour and clarity adjustements and othr corrections. We do not batch process our photos. Many photographers will batch edit or only edit selected images. This means that you may receive images that are too bright or too dark and may result in odd skin tones or other flaws. You will receive a USB of all the images in high definition and watermark free as well as a print release. You are able to use whatever company you prefer to print your favourite images, however we would love to show you our Albums and other printing options.
Our packages all have different times available and we tailor each day to suit your plans. Most of our session we start 2 hours prior to your ceremony, longer if there is travel between locations. We stay till 1 hour into your reception which allows us enough time to capture your entrance, cake cutting and bridal waltz. We will not be watching the clock and running out the door immediately after the hour but if we are required to stay longer for soemthing special we will check with your prior to the time. We are more than happy to stay longer however there is an hourly rate attached.

Looking for someone to do this and wondering if anyone has done this before? It wouldn't be a "hangover party", it would be similar to a portrait shoot... just not on the wedding day but still in our outfits. In victoria somewhere.

I would love to join you but I am in Perth. I can imagine you will have a wonderful time doing this. Maybe have a ring around to the different photographers and maybe even look for someone who is new and looking to build their portfolio. May be a bit cheaper and you can have fun all being a bit "crazy" after you big day!

How many weddings do you book per weekend?

Usually I would only book one per weekend, however depending on the size of the day, I have done 2 over a weekend but never more than one on the same day. Each wedding takes a lot of preparation, concentration and research so if we have a 2nd one booked for the same weekend, it would require a lot more preparation which we are more than happy to do to be sure to give each wedding our full attention.

I actually have 4 cameras I take with me. 2 that have different lenses on and a spare. I also carry a back up for my spare camera just in case. It is essential to have a minimum of 2 in the unfortunate situation of one breaking down. It requires time to change lenses which give different options when taking photos and as a photographer you simply don’t have the time to do these changes, otherwise you will simply miss those important moments.
Always feel free to ask your photographer how many they carry and what would they do if one failed to work.
