It's advisable to book your photographer at least 6 to 12 months in advance, especially if your wedding date falls during peak seasons, which is the summer time. This allows time for pre-event. Vendors may be working abroad for certain months.

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. Typically, I take bookings well over 12 months in advance and often turn down other inquiries for the same dates. If a cancellation occurs, it's likely that I won't be able to replace your booking with another wedding. Therefore, deposits are non-refundable, but I'm willing to work with you to reschedule your booking if possible. Alternatively, I can issue a credit note that can be used for portrait sessions, family photos, or even gifted to friends. Let's discuss the best solution for your situation.
