Professional photographer with several years experience in both photography and videography. Graduate of Photography Studies College, Melbourne, as well as a Bachelor of Business Management and experience in the financial industry. I'm Melbourne born, love to travel (for work or pleasure) and love working with people, particularly when it comes to their special day. Although based in Melbourne, Dorman Creative will and has shot weddings both inter-state and internationally.
This will depend on the number of guests you have at your wedding, as well as your budget. The more photographers certainly ensures we will capture EVERY special moment.
Beyond the agreed time and agreed quote I generally work to an hourly relate if you wish for my team and / or I to extend, which we're always more than happy to do. This rate is always pre-agreed and discussed with you before any additional charges are made.
Dorman Creative has a large inventory of equipment to suit all situations and locations. From high-end lighting, to aerial photography tools.
Personally, I shoot on two Canon EOS R bodies for stills, the Canon C70 for videography and a collection of EF and RF lenses of varying focal lenses. Our lighting equipment Godox, and a Mavic Cine 3 drone for any aerial requirements.
We offer a high-quality colour correction and printing service, including photobooks and framing.
You can, of course, print your own images if you like. We can provide a selection of preferred printers in town that will suit your budget.

Starting to look at wedding photographers and wondered whether they generally have a signature style that they do best or if we can show them inspiration and they can emulate it?

Personally, I like to be somewhat flexible based on the client’s requests. That said, most photographers do have a particular style they gravitate towards. My preference is to try and capture the day in its entirety. When you look back on the images one, three, or even ten years down the road, you're teleported back to the little forgotten moments of that special day. From beginning to end. All the emotion.
