Hi, I’m Jeremy, a documentary wedding photographer and filmmaker.

I’ve recently made the move to Tasmania with my family (and we’re loving it) and now provide my services all across this beautiful state while still occasionally ducking over to the mainland for film and photography projects.

My photography and film journey started in 1998 shooting 35mm monochrome film on old SLR cameras back in high school. I’m a street photographer at heart, so observing life and people through the lens within the context of urban life has always played a big part in how I approach wedding photography and filmmaking today.

For many, a wedding day can be up there as one of the most meaningful, exciting, emotion-filled days of a person’s life, so for me, documenting a couple’s wedding day story is quite a privilege. As your wedding photographer or filmmaker, my job is to observe and capture the moments that make up your wedding day without influencing things, and then to create a collection or film that reminds you not only of what happened on your wedding day, but how those moments felt. If you feel like you’re reliving your wedding day whenever you look back at the images or film we made together, then I’ve done my job. I’d love to tell your wedding day story!

Other things I love: nostalgia, the great outdoors, road trips, seeing the world through my little girl’s eyes, second chances, post-apocalyptic movies, unabashed vulnerability, mochas, stand up comedy, afternoon naps (the idea of them), hearts on sleeves.

Photography pricing:

My service starts at $600 for the first hour (including travel and editing in Tassie) with $200 charged per additional hour. Otherwise my standard fee to capture your day is:

$2000 ($2500 on the mainland) or if you’d like to add a second shooter, $2800 ($3300 on the mainland).

What you’ll get:

- A face to face (if you’re near Launceston) or video meeting to get to know you, hear your wedding plans and ideas and do some planning.

- Up to 8 hours of photography coverage.

- Approximately a dozen finished images the day after your wedding so you have some nice pictures to make your announcements with.

- No limits on image count. I’m all about building a beautiful and honest narrative of your wedding day, regardless how many shots that involves. A finished album of about five hundred or so images is typical for an eight hour day. These will be provided via a a personal online gallery for you to browse, share and download.

- All images provided in full resolution without watermarks within four to five weeks of your big day.

- Travel within an hour of Launceston ($100 per additional hour of travel)

- I’m not a printer or bookmaker, however, should you decide to engage either once you’ve received your images, I’ll gladly work with them on your behalf to ensure they receive your files in the colour space and formats that best suit your chosen paper stock and their particular inks and printing equipment.

Wedding Film pricing:

Cinematic wedding highlight films are priced at $2200 ($2800 on the mainland)

What you’ll get:

- A face to face (if you’re near Launceston) or video meeting to get to know you and hear your wedding plans and ideas. We’ll use this conversation to establish what your vision is for your wedding and your wedding film.

- No hourly time limit (within reason). I’ll be there to capture all the footage and audio needed to tell your wedding story beautifully. That usually involves arriving a little early to film location establishing details, sticking around to the end if you’re planning a special departure, and everything that takes place in-between. An 8-9 hour day is typical but I’m flexible and always excited to document everything that matters for your film.

- Travel within an hour of Launceston ($100 per additional hour of travel)

- Your finished film will be approximately 6 - 8 minutes in duration and supplied in 4k resolution via a download link.
