Raised on the Gold Coast, lover of outdoors and surfing, taking my dog on adventures with my wife. How would you describe you style?

I would describe my style as candid, loose editorial, with a focus on capturing real moments, but also a bit of directing when needed (during portraits and couple photos for example). Images will never be over edited, I like true to colour, and also shoot on film.

Im there to capture the day, but I like to let the day flow naturally while I capture the couples own personalities.

Can we meet you before booking?

Yes absolutely! If we can’t meet in person due to logistics, I would recomend a Zoom or FaceTime so we can have a chat and discuss the day in more detail.

Do you offer video?

Yes i do, while I do either photo or video myself, if a couple want both to capture the day, I will be the main photographer, and I will have another member of the team to capture video, and I will edit that video also to the couples style. Let me know and I can send a few video examples to you!

I spent a long time searching—through Google and social media—for the right photographer for our small, intimate wedding. It was important to me that the vibe was right and that the photographer truly understood my vision. Because our celebration was so personal and low-key, I wanted the photos to reflect that feeling. Luckily, I found Dane. He offered a very fair price, and from the beginning, communication was warm, easy, and reliable. We only had three months to plan the wedding, and thankfully, Dane was spontaneous and flexible enough to make it work. On the day, he arrived right on time and got to work immediately. His kind, open and relaxed presence made it easy for us to feel comfortable—especially during the private couple shoot. Our guests loved him too. He brought everyone together for group shots, captured beautiful candid moments, and always seemed to be in the right place at the right time. We couldn’t be happier with the photos—they turned out even more beautiful than we imagined. Dane managed to capture the emotion, intimacy, and atmosphere of the day in such an authentic and artistic way. Every photo feels full of love, and looking through them brings us right back to those special moments. Nothing feels staged or artificial—they’re natural, emotional, and truly stunning. I wholeheartedly recommend him as a wedding photographer!

Dane was extremely professional and accommodating. He worked well alongside our photographer and ensured we enjoyed all the little moments of the day. Dane made us feel comfortable throughout and captured our wedding day beautifully! His turnaround time was very quick and it was edited to perfection.
