We work from Byron Bay all the way up to the Sunshine Coast and we also love to travel interstate and overseas upon request.

Broken Bird Leg is co-owned by two mates Nik and Buster and we pride ourselves on producing the highest quality photography, while creating great vibes at your wedding. We’ve been mates for over 10 years and our friendship allows for some great synergy when at your wedding both socially and creatively. We approach each wedding as a team to get the absolute best photos of your day while maintaining an unobtrusive method of capturing the entire day in a candid, documentary style of photography.

We focus on the natural moments of your wedding day. Our shooting style can be characterised by a combination of high energy, mood and images that capture the beautiful, often unseen, moments. Nothing cheesy.

Hey guys I'm Nik the owner of Broken Bird Leg Photography House. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Film and Screen Media Production and I've been shooting weddings for the past three years and have loved every second of it. I highly recommend Nik and Buster from Broken Bird Leg Photography House. We were lucky enough to hear about them from a friend and could not have been happier to be able to use their services for our wedding this year in Poona, Queensland. They were extremely professional before, during, and after our wedding. They went above and beyond with their photography house - assisting us with a DIY photo booth, providing lighting during a storm, and taking some great photos of us, our guests, and our dog. They were lovely to be around and also produced beautiful footage of our day. I recommend them to anyone looking for amazing photos to suit any budget.

Nik and Buster were photographers for our wedding. They were personable professional and adaptable. We were hesitant to spend money on our photos but it was worth it. The photos were beautiful and the presentation of the final photos was thoughtful and sweet.

Absolutely amazing work by both Nik and Buster. They went above and beyond to listen to our request for as many candid shots as possible and really delivered photos that captured the love and fun of our day. Nik and Buster also went out of their way to meet with us the day before the wedding and scope out the venue which meant everything ran really smoothly (from our perspective!) on the day. They liaised with our videographer which was a great help on the day as we didn't have to try and organise them as much. I would 150% recommend these two if you want a relaxed, fun day without any of the cringe worthy traditional photos you see floating around.
