Peter Travis Photography is a collaboration between two Adelaide photographers, Peter and Jack. Both are experienced photographers in their own right that have come together to provide comprehensive wedding photography.
People often ask us to describe our style, and we honestly find that really hard to answer. Rather than believing that we define the style and what happens on the day our focus is on working with you to achieve everything you are hoping for.
As photographers, we believe we’re there to capture the action of the day rather than create it. Obviously we may tweak and move things about slightly when we’re shooting some posed photos, but otherwise, we follow the day’s events in a relaxed and candid style, as discreetly as possible.
Every wedding is different, and that’s one of the things we love about photographing them.
We have a wide range of package options to suit all budgets and requirements.
We offer professional, high-quality images with no restrictions on use for non-commercial purposes (you can print and distribute as you wish).

All pictures are processed as part of any photography package. We process and digitally enhance your best pictures. Let us know if you prefer a certain style of processing when you book us.
We love local Adelaide weddings but we also love to travel within South Australia, interstate or even overseas to capture weddings. Just contact us to discuss your location and travel arrangements. We do not charge travel costs within Adelaide.
Images are processed and ready within 4 weeks of your wedding. We will often do a quick edit of a few photos so that you can share them on social media before you go on your honeymoon, however the full album does take a bit of time to edit.
There are many bonuses of having 2 photographers for a wedding. There are the obvious ones like having 2 angles of everything throughout the day, being able to split venues/tasks between photographers, etc. Not only have Peter and Jack worked together for years already, but they also have experience in various different photography disciplines. This allows each of them to approach a wedding or photo shoot with various techniques they can use and other composition ideas not commonly used by other wedding photographers.
This is totally up to you. Just keep in mind that posed photo shoots take some time – it depends on your location, the weather and the number of photos you want. We always suggest to have a minimum of one hour with us to do some shots between the ceremony and reception. You get the best light the hour before sunset – this is not possible all the time and you can’t plan the weather – but try to aim for it. We are happy to discuss your wishes.
As wedding photographers, we want to capture your big moments as well as the fine details. We will photograph your day with minimal interruption to your movements. Most importantly we want to work with you to achieve the photos you seek rather than dictating a specific style. We want every wedding to look like it was shot for a magazine. We want to tell the story of your big day. Have a look at our wedding photography portfolio to get some ideas about our style.
Our services work on a first in, first served basis and we have bookings made a year or more in advance however for anyone who contacts us we will try to contact them should another couple ask about their wedding date. In other words we try to offer you first dibs so to speak (where we can).
