Vanessa McKeand is a dynamic, versatile and adaptable harpist who is available to add a 'touch of harp' to your special event. Based in Melbourne, Vanessa is also able to offer a violin and harp duo with violinist Mary Johnston to offer the magical and mysterious sounds of the harp and violin together, as MV2.
As your guests arrive for your special day, set the scene by adding the beautiful dulcet tones of the harp, and/or the violin with the amazing duo, Vanessa McKeand and Mary Johnston from MV2.
We can provide solo harp or violin & harp music whilst they await the arrival of the bride.
During the signing of the register, we can help to create that beautiful moment of reflection and excitement for your new life ahead.
If you would like to continue on with your celebrations we can perform for your pre-cocktail reception or during your reception.
We will fill your every need in choice of music, and will be happy to arrange your preferred song to be played on the harp and violin.

This can be a very personal choice of the bride, and apart from the popular classics such as the Bridal Chorus and Pachebels Canon in D, the bride can choose any song she feels she would love to make her entry with - I have played the Beach Boys, A Thousand Years, Back Street Boys, Ed Sheeran, Clair de Lune, Beauty and the Beast, Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring, the Arrival of the Queen of Sheba to name just a few. I have been requested to play many things at the end weddings, including Queen of Sheeba, Autumn from the Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Jesu Joy, God Only Knows (Beach Boys), I could have Danced all Night from My Fair Lady, Handels Passacaille, Irish Wedding Song, and many more, both popular and more classical.
