We are The Times - Dave & Mark. We take our job seriously but love having fun with it! We can be like two music acts in one - performing acoustic style songs early on, then later booming a full band sound to move the room!
We choose the best music from all eras to bring everyone together at your party!

About
Hey! I'm the drummer and backing singer in The Times. I grew up on Phillip Island which gave me a love for the ocean - surfing and kite surfing is how I keep myself fit and happy. My favourite place to be is on stage with the audience gripped and the atmosphere electric. I chase this feeling every time I perform - I love it! I also love my friends and having a laugh with new friends. Catch you soon I hope!

We usually play 3 sets, each lasting 45-50 minutes. These can easily be combined or split up to suit your schedule.
Often at a wedding we will play a laidback set in the background when the guests first arrive at your reception, then two sets of dancing music after dinner. This is entirely up to you. Once we are set up we are infinitely flexible and can jump on or off whenever needed. We are also more than happy to adjust things on the fly if things aren't running to schedule.
Yes. Outside of performing in The Times Dave works as a DJ. Providing great interlude music between our sets and to close out the night is included in our price. If you would like to step it up a level we can upgrade to include DJ-ing at a much more affordable rate than booking a separate DJ.
