FAQ
Yes! I'll bring my speaker, mic, and loop pedal to enhance the performance. If you prefer a more traditional sound or the venue doesn’t allow amplification, I can also play acoustic cello.
All I need is shelter from the rain and sun—not for me (I wouldn’t mind a tan, haha!), but for my cello, as its wood and varnish are sensitive to the elements.
An armless chair would be ideal, but it’s not essential—I can bring my own if needed.
Absolutely! I can play anything you’d like—just let me know in advance so I can prepare accordingly.
Weddings can sometimes run over time, and I completely understand! I’m happy to stay longer if needed, subject to an overtime fee (please feel free to ask for details). However, there may be instances where I have another event scheduled after yours, in which case I won’t be able to stay beyond the agreed time.
For this reason, I always recommend booking a longer coverage time upfront rather than cutting it close. While I do my best to leave a buffer between events, unexpected delays can happen—so it’s always better to be safe than rushed.
If it’s just an hour booking, then yes.
Playing the cello is quite physically and mentally demanding so I do need time to stretch and reset for longer bookings. That said, my breaks are minimal. For example, during a 2 hour booking, I will need a 10 minute break.
Even during my break, the music won’t stop. I’ll have background tracks prepared in advance to ensure the atmosphere is maintained seamlessly.
