Designing your ring is a guided, collaborative process, structured, clear, and entirely personal. Here at Futurae Diamonds we offer private consultations in our Bangalow studio or virtual consultations. Our process is delibrate so you have peace of mind.

A one-on-one studio appointment to understand your style, lifestyle, and what the piece represents. This is where direction becomes clear.
Diamond Selection
You are guided through a curated selection of lab-grown diamonds, with transparent advice on cut, proportion, and presence, not just specifications.
Design Direction
Together, we refine the design - considering setting style, profile, proportion, and how the ring will sit on your hand (and alongside your engagement ring, if applicable).
CAD Visualisation
Your piece will then be developed into a custom design render, allowing you to review and approve every detail before production. We also can provide a wax model for you to try on if needed before we commence production.
Craft & Completion
Each ring is individually made to order, with a focus on precision, balance, and long-term wear.
The process is designed to feel calm, informed, and exacting, never overwhelming and with your story at the centre of our design.

Hello from Futurae Diamonds. We love that you’ve chosen to go custom for your wedding rings - it’s such a different experience to buying something off the shelf.
Futurae Diamonds specialises in exquisite lab-grown diamond jewellery, including bespoke engagement rings and sustainable fine pieces.
What we are seeing more and more is that the shift with custom isn’t just about the design — it’s about the meaning behind it.
Years together, children, shared milestones, everything you’ve built… that’s what starts to shape the ring and its design choice. Your story.
When you approach it that way, the design tends to come together much more naturally. It stops being about “what’s trending” and becomes something that reflects you both.
From there, the directions we’re seeing a lot of brides gravitate towards are:
East–west settings, especially with ovals or emerald cuts, it feels modern but still timeless.
Lower, sculptural profiles, rings that sit close to the finger with a bit more gold weight feel really intentional and wearable.
Solitaire bezel or semi-bezel settings, clean, minimal, and beautifully framed without feeling traditional.
Flush-set or scattered diamonds, a more relaxed, editorial feel rather than a single focal point.
Mixed cuts or subtle combinations, using your loose diamond as the hero, then adding small accents (like baguettes) to personalise it. We are seeing a shift towards round and emerald-cut in particular.
Two-tone or tonal metals, adding depth and contrast without overcomplicating the design.
The common thread across all of these is that nothing feels “default.” Importantly your wedding ring/s should feel and sit alongside your engagement ring (assuming you already have that already?).
