I always say to the girls a week before the wedding day so it settles and most the colour is fresh
At least 8 months prior to the wedding i would make sure you have an idea of the colour youd like to be for your big day. Work with your hairdresser to space out appointments and get your hair to the colour you desire.
Regular hair cuts are crucial, your going to be in the spotlight all day and those yucky dry ends will stand out.
If you feel like your hair isnt long enough theres always extensions and youd be surprised how many brides use them!!
Avoid cheap shampoos that build up residue on your hair as this can also lead to your hair looking dull, your colour fading fast and split ends.
Hair should always be maintained especially prior to your wedding with regular trims and treatments. You want your hair to look as natural and as beautiful as possible. As for colour being a colour specialist I would highly recommend you colour your hair at least 3 days prior to your big day. If you have a vibrant colour or a colour you wish to change its good to start the process a good 6 months before this gives your stylist a window of achievement whilst keeping your hair in the best possible condition. I would recommended a time buffer of 1-2 weeks when applying hair colour or getting your haircut before your wedding day, this leaves enough time for colours to settle and time for your haircut to soften to make sure it is exactly what you want for your big day.
Hi I usually like a week before hand. So not a lot of regrowth. If your trying a new look start 6 months out and then you know you like it. You can also use hair extensions for more length and thickness so do not worry to much about growing it.
Depending on the cut and colour, around 7-10 days is generally ideal. If considering hair extensions we recommend visiting the chosen salon around 6 weeks prior for a consultation, then you could have application allowing for 1 maintenance session prior to the big day. This allows for the extensions to setlle, the bride to be used to them and also allows for a trial whilst wearing the extensions.

I tell my brides that it is a good idea to have a cut and colour about two weeks before the wedding. It allows for the colour to settle down and for the hair to grow back into its style. We would prefer you don't cut the front of your hair as it is always best to have as much length as possible.

Hello,
I recommend to my brides between 7-10 days so you can wash your hair a few times to let the colour and texture settle from your services. Depending how much you like your hair after the services. Sometimes you might like those few millimetres of regrowth. You may not.
Good Luck

Hi there, in answer to your question it really does vary from person to person as to the right time to cut or trim your hair prior to your wedding day, depending on the hair style you are wanting to wear on the day. We usually recommend having a hair trial first, normally around 2 months out from the wedding day, at which time you could then discuss this directly with your hair stylist once she has an idea as to the length of your hair currently and what style you are wanting to wear on the day. Some upstyles require quite a bit of length so it is best not to cut anything before discussing this with your hair stylist. She will also discuss the best time to colour your hair but usually the week leading up to the wedding day is normal. Please don't colour your hair the day before! We have seen brides with tint stains on their face/hair line from doing just this...on their wedding day. :-)

Typically, I recommend two weeks before the wedding... or a week at the latest. This is to give the hair time to settle and would also allow for any changes to be made should you need it.
