I do love eyelash extensions and highly recommend them as a service that works very well for brides and other members of the bridal party. I myself do offer this service additionally for weddings and occasions.

Having worked in the industry for some time now, I have seen how lash extensions really do finish off the makeup look perfectly making lashes look even more beautiful but still very natural which is usually the look most brides like to achieve.

False lashes work well but in my opinion nowhere near as good as this service. They are guaranteed to stay put through rain or shine. They will not budge so no need to worry about any tears/ emotional moments which are bound to happen. Not just this but they can last a good 3-4 weeks if done professionally and this way getting them done a week or just less of the wedding means that if you are heading off to your honeymoon soon after the big day then you will be all lashed up looking gorgeous for this - it's a win win!

Please do enquire through my easy weddings listing for more information and prices on this service that I offer.

Hope that helps!

Thanks,

Natalia

Hi

Definitely lash extension will give a complete look for the makeup, lashes will open your eyes and looks great on all angles for photos.

Book me in for classic or volume Russan lashes (silk or premium mink)

$130 - $200 depend on style and the eyes.

I prefer to use false lashes rather than have the client wear lash extensions. It's not recommended to use mascara on them and when there is eye shadow that sprinkles on the lashes, you can't cover it with mascara. I personally think that false eye lashes look more natural than the extensions but that's just my opinion.

Good Luck : )

Personally, I think it's a great idea to get lash extensions before the wedding. We can still apply false lashes (individuals) and great thing about extensions is that you will be rocking them during your honeymoon!

From my experience I would not recommend it for a few reasons:

- If you're unhappy they cannot be removed

- The look of the lashes often doesn't suit the makeup choice

- They cannot be customised like strip lashes can be (ie. fluffy, longer at the sides, wispy etc.)

- The lashes often start to look messy and worn after a few days

Around 90% of the clients that come to me with lash extensions ask for me to glue stip lashes on top as they arent happy with the extensions. Very rarely in my career have I ever seen lash extensions that look better than stip or individual false lashes.

Hi!

It would completely depend on your taste and whether you wanted the added hassle of maintaining lash extensions leading up to the day.  They do require special care as you really shouldn't wear mascara and have to be careful with the eyeliners you use as well as the eye makeup remover, but if you wanted to keep the full lashes for your honeymoon without bothering with mascara, then I'd say go for it.

Your makeup artist should be able to apply either individual or strip lashes on the day of your wedding, though, so you'll have that gorgeous full look on the day without the hassle prior when everything else is happening.  However you won't have them into your honeymoon.

I hope this helps!

I think eyelash extensions are a personal preference, If done correctly they can look really beautiful on your wedding day. You can have them on and your Makeup artist can still put strip or individual lashes on top or remove residue with correct product and tools to get rid of that powdery look. This will not damage them but gives them that beautiful finished look.

I don’t have a problem with eye lash extensions at all, it wont make a different to your makeup application.

I’ve done many bridal makeups with ladies who have them on as well as last year I was working on Aladdin the musical and some of the performers had lash extensions on constantly.

If the eye shadow falls onto the lashes we would easily remove it with the correct product and tool. You can get the same result as wearing stick on lashes, however if your going on your honey moon strait after and want to have them on for that, then I say go for it!

Generally I would recommend against getting eyelash extensions before your wedding. The only exception would be if you have regularly had lash extensions before, are used to the upkeep of them, are extremely confident in your lash technicians ability, and are prepared to get your extensions touched up after the wedding anyway.

The look achieved with lash extensions can easily be recreated with false lashes. As these are applied as part of the makeup application they will look fresh and full. If any lash extensions are lost between your lash appointment and makeup appointment these will need to be filled in with false lashes to avoid gaps - this can damage the lash extensions.

If you are wanting full lashes for both your wedding and honeymoon, I would recommend false lashes for the wedding day, and saving the appointment with a lash tech for after the wedding, before leaving on your honeymoon.

Hi there!

From my experience with brides who have gotten eyelash extensions before their wedding day, I feel that extensions are not the best option.

One reason is because the powder from the eyeshadow falls over the lashes and is very hard to remove. This causes the lashes to look dull and mascara over extensions to cover the powdery look makes it look worse.

Individual lashes applied on the day of the wedding are the nicest way to create a natural or glam look. These can be removed easily in the shower.
