Should I have a pre-wedding trial with Serina Martic Makeup Artist?
A trial is strongly encouraged. This is the perfect opportunity to see your artist’s work in action before your wedding day. At your trial, Serina will also assess your skin type to determine which products and techniques she will use, which will save valuable time on your wedding day.
You will have ample time to discuss the look you are hoping to achieve and share any inspiration pictures you have, as well as get Serina’s professional input.
Serina encourages you to bring trusted friends or family members to your makeup trial. Weekend trials are also available for your convenience, and can be performed at a location of your choice (travel fees may apply) or at Serina’s studio.

Professionally trained by the Academy of Makeup, I have worked within the Industry for over 18 years. I have worked with commercial clients as well as editorial and television makeup. I have worked as a trainer, teaching other up and coming makeup artists how to perfect their trade and have also been a brand ambassador for many high end makeup brands. Weddings are my specialty! We do offer bridal trials and would highly recommend it! During the trial, we will discuss and sample out the makeup style you've chosen and tweak it to fit you and make any changes if necessary. With trials, it will also allow you to wear the makeup for the day and see how it feels and holds up in preparation for your wedding day. Then come day of your wedding, we would have the look nailed down already and everything will be a breeze!
Yes absolutely! We suggest you begin looking through Pinterest to find several make-up photos that you like. On your bridal trial, we would create a look based on what you like, and help you create the look you are hoping to achieve, from vintage to modern to natural. We'll also help you identify and accentuate your most flattering features to reveal your natural beauty. It can be daunting trying to find a look that you want, but I promise the process will be painless.
The makeup will last all day without needing any touch ups with the exception of lips (due to eating/drinking etc). As a professional makeup artist, I am able to apply and set your makeup to ensure it looks as beautiful in the first hour as it does in the 8th hour.
I only use the best products that I've personally have had experiences with myself to ensure its performance is up to quality.
We would recommend to book your makeup artist as soon as you get engaged! Or as soon as possible. Wedding planning can sometimes be a nightmare (or so I've been told by previous brides), so since, in my opinion, getting makeup (and hair) services seems to be the cheapest and easiest part of planning a wedding, I'd recommend to get that out of the way, and hopefully that will ease some stress.
