Thanks for stopping by! Hi, my name is Tara, so lovely to meet you. I am originally from Ireland and I've been working Internationally and locally as a bridal makeup artist specialising in soft glam and full glam makeup looks since 2015. After years of sharing my enthusiasm for elegance and helping brides in Ireland to look glamorous and feel comfortable in their own skin. Weddings have been getting booked quicker than ever these days with some upto 18 months in advance! The longer you wait to book, the quicker someone else will snap up that date! A 40% deposit and contract signiture is required to secure your Wedding date.
I only take payment from the bride.
If your family is helping with costs or if your party is planning on paying for their own makeup, please have them pay you privately. This will help avoid any confusion or discrepancies along the way.
If there are people undecided, please leave them out of the headcount as services cannot be reduced after booking. If I’m able to accommodate additional services, I will try my best to work them in!
As my booking/pricing system is package based and not priced per head, I definately recommend getting your numbers locked in before making a booking :)
Yes. Lashes are optional and are highly recommended to complete the fabulous makeover.
Yes, I do travel and provide makeup and hair services on location. Travel fees within the general Adelaide area is FREE.
If you are getting ready at a hotel where parking, tolls and other charges are required, this will be made payable by the bride.
I am willing to travel out of state. Travel expenses including hotel and airfare would need to be covered.
There are certain requests I make in order to complete the makeup application to perfection.
-A “set- up” table/work area needs to be made available for ABT (Artistry by Tara) at the said location.
-Ample lighting, whether by means of natural light or by my own ring light, which is necessary for services to be performed properly.
-I kindly ask each Client that they respect the time of ABT by refraining from using their cell phone or other distracting devices while receiving services.
I would absolutely love to be a part of your special day. Unfortunately, without a deposit/retainer and signed bridal service agreement we cannot hold the desired date. Dates are increasingly unavailable, thus if you know you want ABT to be a part of your special day – do not delay.
The extensive collection of products you will experience, include items from luxury brands that are loved by brides all over the world, ensuring that you receive the highest quality makeup application for your special day, guaranteed that your makeup will not budge throughout the day and often into the next morning, so I have heard from past clients :)
I use only exceptional quality products from exclusive brands that deliver longevity and a celebrity finish so you are picture perfect at every moment.
Using my in depth knowledge of cosmedical skincare, I know exactly what luxury products to use and how to pair them with the shades for your correct skin tone.
Stay hydrated. Drink plenty of water every day before the wedding. Hydration is so important to keep your skin looking radiant.
Clothes – Please wear a button-up shirt or robe to keep your hair and makeup looking flawless when you are changing into your special Bridal attire. White robes are great, especially for pictures!
Face – Come with a clean face, free of makeup or mascara. It’s good to moisturise your face and lips.
I wouldn’t recommend trying a new or unfamiliar skincare product up-to 6 weeks before your Wedding Day! This may cause breakouts or skin mishaps that we definitely want to avoid on the lead unto your big day!
Skin - Make sure you have trialed and tested a spray tan if you will be opting for one for the Wedding Day! I recommend trialing this the same week as your bridal trial with me, this will ensure we know exactly what we will be working with in terms of skin tones and colours.
