Mel was absolutely amazing. From the beginning, she was super communicative, friendly, and really tried her best to make sure we had the best flowers with our theme. The flower arches, table arrangements and bouquets were beautiful! Would 100% recommend her to others looking for flower arrangements on their big day. Thank you so much Mel!

Wendy, Derek and their team are amazing and are easy and pleasant to deal with. We hired Fable Studio Co for our wedding day and everything turned out beyond what we imagined. I cannot say enough amazing things about Keren! From my stunning wedding bouquet to the breathtaking venue decorations, she completely exceeded all of my expectations. Our wedding theme was “European Summer,” and she brought it to life in her special way. She is an amazing listener, and she definitely gave me confidence as a bride. Keren perfectly matched the color palette I envisioned and she created flower arrangements that are beyond beautiful. Every detail, from the floral arch, floral centerpieces, to fruits and candles.. It felt like stepping into a dreamy summer garden. Guests couldn’t stop raving about how gorgeous everything looked! They were constantly asking could they bring some of the flowers home. Felicia & her team are beyond amazing, from the beginning of planning to choosing designs to blowing us away on the actual day. Working with her was the easiest part of the wedding. She was smooth, professional and went out of her way at every step. Her pricing is also extremely reasonable for the attention to detail and creativity she produces. We were beyond satisfied and would happily recommend her.

Kathy was able to provide beautiful bespoke fresh flower arrangements for our wedding at fairly late notice over the Christmas period! Kathy was flexible with my budget and was able to requote accordingly and negotiate about the flower arrangements. The arrangements Kathy provided were quite full and generous, she also provided urns/vases for them and some candles to complete the look! Kathy makes an effort to view the venue so that her arrangement can be tailored to it. Kathy also provided us some lovely unique flowers for hair decoration which she delivered to where we were staying along with the bouquets. She also provided a complimentary throwing bouquet. Kathy worked well with the colour scheme I envisioned of "flame colours" with orange, red and yellow flowers that tied together excellently. I received many compliments with regard to the flowers from the guests! I have no complaints at all and would highly recommend Dare to Picnic/Kathy to anyone having a wedding or other event!

Shane and Ben were a dream to work with. They went above and beyond in their creativity and service to produce the most beautiful floral arrangement for my big day. (I was so mesmerised by the flowers at the aisle I stopped looking at my husband whilst I was walking down!!) A lot of my guests also commented on how beautiful and unique the flowers were too. Not only did they deliver exceptionally on the big day, but they were professional and quick with communication throughout the process. I appreciated how adaptable and honest they were to fit it all within budget. I was recommended Shane by my cousin, and was so glad I went with his team - he has my.highest recommendation

I genuinely don’t know where to begin — thank you hardly feels like enough. Our wedding styling and florals were beyond anything we could have imagined. It truly felt like stepping into the wedding set of our dreams. From our very first conversation, Wendy was incredible — meticulous, creative and unbelievably hardworking. Every element of the design was so thoughtfully considered: the style guide, invitations, RSVP suite, monogram, signage and all the finer details that tied everything together so cohesively. The process was collaborative, organised and energising from start to finish. Every meeting and update felt seamless, and it was clear how much care went into refining each detail to align perfectly with the vision. The on-the-day stationery and styling were exceptional. From the guest list display and menus (with all our bespoke tweaks) to the beautiful feature details that made everything feel personal and intentional — nothing was overlooked. What truly amazed us was the transformation across the day. The mandap ceremony setup was breathtaking, and the transition into a completely different look for the Christian ceremony was executed flawlessly, with florals thoughtfully repurposed in the most seamless way. It felt like two distinct, beautifully designed weddings in one. And then the reception — absolutely stunning. The tables were whimsical, romantic and perfectly balanced, with lush florals and thoughtful design choices that felt elegant and refined without being overdone. The bridal table was a true showstopper and captured exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for (and more). The floral details were exquisite. The bouquets were true works of art — the colour palette, texture and movement were unlike anything we’ve seen. Every personal floral element was crafted with the same level of care and creativity. Beyond the immense talent, what sets this team apart is their dedication and warmth. They listened deeply, offered creative yet practical solutions, and poured their heart and soul into every aspect of the day. The level of commitment behind the scenes was extraordinary, and the end result was nothing short of phenomenal. If you’re looking for a stylist and florist who will not only bring your vision to life but elevate it beyond your expectations, we cannot recommend them highly enough. We are endlessly grateful.

Jo went above and beyond for our wedding. I gave a vision and she exceeded my expectations. She is unbelievably talented with flowers and styling and her kind nature and calmness shines through in a time that can be stressful. All our guests commented on how beautiful the florals were at our wedding and asked if they could take some home. Words don't do justice to the incredible florals that Mel created for our wedding. In the interest of full disclosure, choosing a florist was the hardest decision we had to make across our vendor selection. I had interviewed two florists before reaching out to Mel, one of whom never came back to me with a quote, and the other who I wasn't totally sure 'got' my vision. I knew from the moment I started communicating with Mel that this was the best choice for our day. Apart from having a wealth of experience across both retail, corporate, events and weddings - Mel has such a beautiful and warm personality. She came with the added bonus of having been the chosen florist for two of my friends' weddings that I only realised after looking through her Instagram. Mel has such a great, genuinely collaborative process for helping design the colour palette and feel for your day. I knew that I wanted bright florals, and my brief for our wedding venue and associated florals was somewhat oxymoronic as the vibe I was going for was 'curated wildflower garden". I sent Mel through some images and took my Mum along to our in person 1:1 as she has a lot more gardening expertise and has done some floral arrangements. We narrowed down a list of seasonal flowers and Mel went to great lengths to select a desired 'pop of blue' for my bouquet and Owen's buttonhole that would go with my blue wedding shoes (that were going to be a bit of a surprise). She also custom designed the bridesmaids bouquets to the same selection of florals, but choosing more of a particular shade or flower based on their dress colour, as each bridesmaid had a different shade. I went back and forward a little bit on the types of arrangements I wanted for the venue and changes in our table size/ type, and Mel was so patient in producing updated quotes. She also offered to use her own tea lights to assist with creating a softer lighting option than what the venue offered at a nominal cost. She had quite a small window for the set up due to our ceremony time, but was completely calm and a total pro reassuring me with something along the lines of "we do this, in these timeframes all the time". I also selected plinth arrangements that could be moved and re-purposed to inside of our venue after the ceremony, and I was a bit worried that this economical choice might not be ok with a florist. Mel thought this was a wonderful idea, and was never pushy about suggesting additional arrangements or 'add ons' that are so typical in the bridal industry that would have exceeded my allocated budget. On the day, I absolutely forgot about the flower delivery, I was so focussed on other aspects of getting ready, so when Mel rang my doorbell with the bouquets I nearly burst into tears. They were SPECTACULAR and more beautiful than anything I could have created on a pinterest board. The peonies were the stars of the show, and my Mum kept saying she has never seen so many peonies in that shape or fullness in her life. I knew in that moment that our venue florals would be equally amazing and they were. We had so many people compliment our flowers and say they were the most beautiful they had ever seen. Mel came in and discretely packed down the flowers in the last half hour of our reception and people were able to take flowers home, which was such a beautiful gift for not only my bridal party then, but for all our guests. One of my guests was so taken with the flowers that she took two bunches with her... and somehow got them home to Brisbane! My husband and I kept a couple of them and delivered them to a nursing home the next day, which I hope would have brightened up some of the residents' rooms. Our venue provided the perfect "neutral' canvas to create whatever vision you have in mind for your day, and Mel fully delivered my brief in creating the flowers of my dreams. Thank you so much Mel you are an industry gem and a total legend of a human.
