If you decide to opt for artificial flowers, you can have your bouquets and buttonholes ready only weeks after you place your order. The best thing is, you'll know exactly how your flowers will look on your wedding day, no surprises!

I try and leave the flower arranging to last possible minute as this will ensure your flowers are at best quality and look there best when I deliver them to you or set up at your reception/church etc... If your Wedding was on a Saturday at 3pm most prep work would be carried out day prior, bouquets made either that night or early Saturday Am. As flowers remain dormant in a coolroom environment, the option to be organized and have them ready night before is of a huge advantage to me especially of I have more than 1 wedding on a particular date.

Best wishes for your day

Warmest Regards

Hi,

Depends on the actual flowers I am using but usually most things are made the day before. On the day for last minute wiring in of accent blooms and for binding the stems in ribbon. There is a lot of effort and work that goes into wedding flowers that we couldn't possbily make everything on the actual day. Hope this helps, Tarnia Blackwood Florist

Bouquets and buttonholes are made either the day before , or on the day of the wedding, but flowers are ordered a month prior to the big day, and received in store in the week leading up tothe wedding,  to ensure top quality blooms are selected and reserved for your special day

A wedding is a whole weeks work physically with the blooms and months of work in the planning and sourcing. The week of your wedding, flowers are purchased at different stages depending on what types of flowers are being used and what the weather is doing also. Certain flowers need time to open to their full potential, which are prepared, conditioned and monitored each day. More delicate blooms are purchased closer to the wedding day and most of the construction is the day before the big day.

Wired work, binding and finishing’s are done the morning of.

Depending on the products, usually the day before.  There is a lot of work involved in weddings and it would not be possible to constuct everything on the day. We also like to see the flowers opening to make sure placements are correct and the quality is upheld.

Wired work such as buttonholes, corsages and flower crowns may be made on the morning of the wedding.
