Is there any way to source peonies for my wedding in March?

Can I have them imported? Is there a similar flower that is available?

At Peony Perfection, we use high quality artificial peonies. Our peonies are very realistic looking and we receive so many comments regarding this. Some of the peonies we use are exclusive to us meaning that they are manufactured specifically for our business.

Unfortunately peonies are not available in March.  Silk flowers could be an alternative but I would recommend Garden Roses aka Cabbage Roses.  They look very similar to peonies.  I used in bouquets I did for a wedding last year.

The only way to guarantee peonies in march is to have silk ones. They are very realistic these days.

Unfortunately peonies aren't in season at that time.  They usually start becoming available from Mid October through till January/Febraury at a stretch.  You can occassionally get them via import in March but I would not rely on that as that can not be guaranteed and it would be a very costly adventure.  My recommendations would be to substitute with David Austin or African Roses (very similar to David Austins).  I know they don't have the same frilly look but they can be combined with some other softer/frilly flowers to achieve a similar look.

Peony's are so beautiful but unfortunately they are seasonal.  There may be imports around but there is never a guarantee, can be expensive and the quality may differ from the local varieties.  Choosing flowers in season is the best way to guarantee a high quality product at an affordable price.
