It is definitely ok to use faux flowers. We have wooden roses that look like real roses and will last forever.

This way you are able to get them sooner than the wedding and colour match all your other accessories and the mens suits. I did this for my wedding and it made organising everything else so much easier

What's even better is that they are great for anyone that suffers hayfever or allergies or destination weddings, simply pack and take with you.

Yes, anything is the go now-a-days! If you plan on using real fresh flowers as well though, make sure you are getting high quality faux flowers so they blend seamlessly with the real ones.

If you are stuck on how to get them, the Petal and Sage team have a supplier we use that will be able to get spectacular faux flowers.

Of course it is perfectly fine to use faux flowers, these days some of the artificial flowers on the market are so realistic its difficult to tell they arent real without touching them and I'm not sure about yourself but I personally haven't ever congratulated a couple and then felt the bouquets.. haha.. ;-) Its a far more stress free way to organise wedding flowers. In saying that with artificial bouquets you get what you pay for, so its important to seek out an Artificial Florist with high quality blooms and finishes. We only deal with artificial flowers and offer a huge range of bridal designs, flowers and the opportunity to customise your design and package to suit your specific style and needs.

Yes! But just like fresh flowers, there are so many different versions of faux flowers out there and some are of higher quality than others. I personally wouldn’t use faux flowers or too much of them for anything that is low on the table or hand held (bouquets) .... for bridal flowers (bouquets, buttonholes) I would always do them 100% fresh. I only use faux flowers for large arrangements which require large amount of flowers to build the volume whilst keeping costs down.

I think faux flowers are great. It is up to you if you want fresh or artifical. Although there are alot of flowers that are silk that look and feel real that I use in bouquets that clients have been happy with. Plus you can have any flower you like and you have that bouquet for life, less hassle on worrying about the flowers wilting, dying or the weather ruining them on your big day.

All of my work is with faux/artificial flowers and have always had favourable responses. Lots of benefits using artificial 1/ can preorder and see them well beforehand ... no disapointment 2/ Spread and plan budgets easier 3/ no one is effected by hayfever/allergies 4/Beautiful keepsake or can sell on to recover some costs 5/Very affordable.

It's completely OK to use them, but I would only recommend that if you can't find the flower of your choice in the real version

Most of the artificial flowers that are made these day are made from polyester (faux) rather than traditional silk as its more economical and they look a lot more realistic. Most of my customers cant tell the difference between faux and fresh flowers and they are a fraction of the price.
