Do my flowers have to suit my skintone?

Ie: warm tones for olive skin? Or is it far enough away from my face that it doesn't matter?

Best if the flowers compliment your gown and bridesmaids gowns. Your florist can suggest colour combinations for you.

The flowers are designed to compliment your dress and the bridesmaid's dress'. You would have chosen a dress which compliments your skin tone therefore the flowers will be designed to go with your skin tone. In my experience this has not been an issue. Design your flowers around your theme, venue and dress.

It is important to make an appointment to chat to your florist so they can know your height and build which are important factors, so that the florist can recommend what will look best with the colours and style of your dress and the bridesmaids dresses. We will then be able to see which flowers will best suit your skin tone and the style of your dress.

You will find that actually the flowers will match your skin tone. The reason for this is because you will choose a bridal gown that

looks gorgeous with your skin tone and then you choose the flowers for your bouquet to match in with your gown, so therefore everything

compliments you perfectly. Just begin with choosing a bridal gown to suit your skin tone and everything else will follow. Best wishes - Buds of May.

hi, flowers bouquet has nothing to do with skin tone, the important is to match the colours of bridesmaid's dress and the theme when and where is the wedding

It is really more important that the style and colour of flowers compliment your dress, your bridesmaids dresses and the theme of your wedding.

It is far enough from your face not to matter, however it might be a good idea to bring this up with your florist as certain flowers/colours can look different against some colours.

In short, no. The flowers should compliment your wedding dress and also tie together the overall theme you have chosen.
