Hello, I'm Kate - owner and head designer of TigerLily Flowers. Floral design is what I love and what I am passionate about. From the very beginning of my flower journey, half way across the world, in Northern Ireland, many years ago, I knew that working with flowers and creating beauty was what I wanted to do. It is my passion to not just arrange flowers, it's to create an atmosphere and a space, for one of the most important days of your life.

There is definitely a common belief out there that as soon as you mention the word "wedding" the price of the service you are needing, automatically goes up in price. I am here to let you know, that at TigerLily Flowers, you are only every charged a fair and reasonable quote. Flowers are an expensive product on their own, and when you add other costs such as a florists time (quoting, sourcing flowers from wholesalers, collecting flowers from market, preparation of the flowers, designing, transportation, set up and installations) and other materials such as oasis, ribbon, pins, vases etc, it does seem to add up. The consolation for all of this, is the beauty and atmosphere that fresh flowers provide to an event and a space. TigerLily Flowers prides itself on providing an affordable and personalised service to all of it's customers, and we are happy to do whatever we can to help you have the flowers of your dreams for your wedding day.
Some brides know exactly what flowers and style they are wanting for their big day, and for others, they haven't much of a clue, which is totally OK as it can be a bit overwhelming with so many colours and flowers to choose from! The best way to figure out what it is that you like, is to do a little research. With social media outlets such as instagram, it is super easy to find photos of what tickles your fancy. And if you're really not sure, here at TigerLily Flowers we love the challenge of helping our brides figure out what flowers they want for their big day. Our free quote + initial consultation includes all the help and advice required to help you reach a decision that you feel good and excited about.
In one word ... NO, absolutely not! The only reason I would suggest doing this is if it's something you would like to do! I always tell my brides to go with the colours and flowers that they WANT, and that they LOVE. Everyone has their own opinions on what looks good, the important thing is that it's what YOU want. If you want to take into consideration the colour of your bridemaids dresses when choosing flowers, that it totally OK, but if you are up for just choosing flowers and their colours based on what you like, then do that.
