The best thing is to try on styles, you may be heart set on a particular style. Slim line fit and flare.  Their are so many various styles.  My suggestion would be to try on styles fabrics you never know what you may love on, you maybe surprised.

Hello bride, you are lucky to have an hourglass body shape! Girls with hourlgass shapes tends to have small wasist, so we would suggest finding a dress that emphasize that. You should show off your figure by wearing a dress with very fitted top, and either a fit and flare type skirt or gentle A line would also look wonderful on you. If you are in Melbourne, why not make an appointment with us! We would love to help you find your dream dress :)

Hi Darling, A mermaid or even a full gown could look beautiful on you but it all depends on how you feel on the gown and your personal style and also your wedding style. If you would like to discuss it more, please contact me I would be happy to help you, I can also make you a custom made couture gown specially for you.

Hello,

When  choosing a wedding dress, think about your personal preferred style, as well as your wedding setting and bring the two together.  While fit and flare looks amazing on hourglass shapes, you may (or may not) find that you feel uncomfortable.  I would suggest to try on different styles before making a decision.  Over the years I have had many consultations with soon-to-be brides, who were set on one style, but ended up choosing something completely different because they were advised that if you have XXX body shape, you should go for XXX design.

I hope this helps!

If you are in the Sydney region, feel free to book a complementary fitting session - I have a variety of designs in my showroom to view.

Best wishes,

Hi there,

All types of dresses will suit you, it all depends on how you feel in them. I recommend if you are wanting to showcase your hourglass figure then a mermaid or fit and flare would look amazing, however if you dont want to show off your gorgeous curves, then a full gown would be the way to go. Dresses that are tight are designed to show off the body, regardless of the style, you most of all need to feel elegant and beautiful in the gown. I highly suggest that you try on a few different syles to get the feel of the style that you think flatters you the most.

If you would like to I can have a consult with you in store and give you the advice on shape, style and design that you prefer most.

Your welcome to call us at Jannifer Wu Couture 03 9380 9238 if you would like an appointment with one of our consultants.

Wishing you the best
