Have you had the experience of trying on wedding gowns and see styles, we would highly suggest that you try on gowns. As when purchasing gowns online from O/S they use our Designers pictures and then use second quality lace and construction. They maybe cheap, you get what you pay for.

Hi this is Threadelicous Bride, a Bridal alterations service in Brisbane.
Whether you buy a gown online or off the rack from a store there is a good chance that it will not fit you as it has not been made for you, so in that sense it is a similar experience in that you will probably need alterations.
You should allow a third of the cost of the gown for alterations.
Obviously buying from a store gives you a little more confidence in fit and fabric quality as you have the chance to try on and touch the gown.
Buying online therefore is a risk as you may end up with a larger alterations requirement and a lower quality fabrication and design, so it is not necessarily the best way to lower the budget, after all you usually only get what you pay for.
If you do buy online (or off the rack in a store!) and need alterations, please feel free to book into the Threadelicious Bride Studio for a FREE Fitting/Consultation and no obligation quote!
