My best advice would be to enjoy wearing your gown in the setting you have chosen..... within reason, don't stress about getting dirty, enjoy the moment, this is why you have purchased your gown so you can feel fantastic on the day! Even if your wedding was at an indoor venue, it is always a shock when you look at the once perfectly clean hemline the next day and see it is now dirty......this is why you need a good drycleaner to take care of it post wedding. Most gowns can be hooked/bustled up, ask your designer/alterations dressmaker to help you arrange loops to get the hemline up off the ground later at the reception. You can also call on your bridesmaids to give a helping hand getting around for your photos etc. Wishing you all the best for an amazing day!

It's pretty well unavoidable. If you have a train you can have  a bustle put in which will hold the train up at the back.

Dear Bride,

it depends from the lenght of the dress. Unfortunately if the dress has a long train, maybe it will get a little bit dirty, but you could clean up once you finish the ceremony. Otherwise if the dress has a mid lenght or has no long train, you could use a special shoes with platform or special wedges in order to help you stay a litle bit higher but in the same time comfy and glamour.

Other chance, you should chose a tulle gown: tulle is a fabric not easily to get dirty, and its softeness help to walking outdoor without stick in to it.

Last but not least, why don't go for a short, fifty style dress?

Let us know your choice.

If you are worried about the gown looking dirty due to the outdoor venue you should consider

designing the gown with the skirt created with a beautiful soft tulle. If it does get dirty then it can be

brushed off very easily.  At Zhanel Couture we design the back train to be bustled beautifully so after

the ceremony the back skirt can be  lifted and placed to give a creative look to the back of the gown.

If you do not like the idea of tulle there as other bridal fabric that can be used if you are concerned

about the outdoor venue. I feel it is important to have your gown looking beautiful all day so selecting

the right design and fabrics should be taken into consideration when you are designing your

wedding gown.

Regards

Angela.

Outdoor venues can be kind of tricky when you're wearing your bridal dress. We recommend having a hook or wrist loop to hold the bottom train of your dress up in order for there to be minimal contact with the floor.

If it is a full length wedding dress then it is unavoidable. Your wedding dress will need to be dry cleaned after the wedding anyway so I would not worry about getting it dirty. If you have a muddy area then just pick up your dress over the wettest spots. If it is dry dirt then do not stress about it.

Other option is to have shoter dress for an outdoor wedding. Even if you already have dress that is long a good dressmaker or designer studio should be able to advice you if your dress could be redesign into shorter version. Sometimes the wedding dress can be bustle up after the ceremony and photos so you can party without worring about the length, again, see your local dressmaker for the best option. Arrange the appointment so you can show them how the dress is working or not working for you.

All the best for your wedding.
