At Designer Bridal House we have seen numerous brides purchasing 2 wedding dresses, one for ceremony and another for reception! As we always say, you only get to marry once, why not have 2?? Not only can you wear two completely different styles but it is also for practical reasons. At the reception you will probably be dancing and moving around more. If you were to have a ballgown for the ceremony, it may not be as practical for you at the reception. You may opt for a more simple, fitted style for the reception so you can dance the night away with your fresh husband! Our prices are amazing, so having 2 wedding dresses is a total possibility!

Great idea if you want something over the top for ceremony. Over the years I have created all sorts of versions of that idea. My clients had 2 or even 3 dresses for the wedding, some brides chosen gowns with detachable train, detachable skirt and/or overskirt, simple dress with long and elaborate veil, short dress with huge over skirt so they could party and have fun at the reception. I think look at your whole wedding and how you will feel in your dress for a whole of the wedding day, think how comfortable is your dress so you still feel like dancing halfway trough reception.

All the best wishes and don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions,
