Hello

This is a very open question.

There are many dependents that vary the cost per person; venue, style of catering, location, number of people, caterers, if it includes staff, alcohol, equipment hire and food or not, timings etc

When it comes to catering there is no simple answer as to the average cost. The cost depends on may factors including style of menu, menu selections, location and length of your function etc. Our philosophy is to work with the client to create a beautiful and unique menu tailored to your tastes and budget rather than only offer set packages. Many other caterers are also happy to work with you and create a bespoke menu to suit your needs. We find that it is a much easier process if you are open with your caterer and let them know your budget up front, that way we know what we have to work with and can put together a menu that suits. Create a shortlist of caterers that you like, let them know your budget and go from there. Just remember that catering isnt something to skimp on.....there is nothing worse and I am sure we have all seen it happen -  you attend a wedding and leave so hungry your looking for the nearest drive thru for a feed on the way home! A ggod caterer will be able to advise you.

How long is a piece of string? Just depends on the menu chosen, whether you serve canapes, entrée, mains, dessert and any other extras after dinner. For a fully catered wedding - anywhere between $80 and $100 per person including staff, crockery, cutlery, glassware.

At Figjam and Co, we are very flexible and design menus and pricing are determined in consultation with our customers.

There is no easy way to answer this question! It really depends on the bride, the type of event they are hosting, and the types of foods they would like to supply! Questions to consider might be: Where is the event being held? How long will it go for? What foods might your guests like? Is it a fingerfood event or a sit down event? Is it casual or formal? How much money do you want to spend? A really broad range might be from $20 to $100 per person, however we find many clients end up spending between $35 to $80 per person (not including alcohol).
