We are a family owned business that has been catering for weddings and functions for decades. We're passionate about bringing the best gourmet food and beverages to you and your wedding party, no matter where you are in Victoria. Unlike other caterers we travel with a complete executive kitchen and cooking facilities. No reheated food with HC, we'll prepare and cook it on site in your venue, or in the middle of your dream farm location off the beaten track.

No, your deposit only confirms Hot Coals as your caterer for your special day! You can change your menu, your service types, everything as many times as you like, until you have the pefect event planned!
Of course we do! We can cater to any and all dietary requirements, just tell us what you need and (for a small surcharge) we can come up with delicious food for your friends and family so they don't feel excluded or go hungry at your event.
Yes of course! HC Catering is happy to create a great menu for our event, using the facilities available at your venue. But more often than not, we will also bring our woodfire oven to your event.

Hi there. Wondering if we're supposed to cater meals for our wedding suppliers, and which suppliers are typically included? Need to factor into our budget.
HC Catering
Many people do choose to feed their suppliers, sometimes you'll find it is even part of your contract! It's entirely up to you to decide, whether they will get the same as everyone else, or maybe just a plate of main course, or something simpler. As HC Catering often have woodfired ovens onsite at events, we find our customers often opt to provide woodfired pizza for their suppliers; these are a great cost effective choice. It's up to you, the customer, to decide based on the arrangements you have with your suppliers, and also the relationship ytou have with them!

Hi! We love the idea of the midnight snack at our reception for the late partygoers. What are some unique/fun ideas that our guests will love?

So many couples are now optiong to provide supper, after their main event!
Pizzas are always a great way to end the evening. We can easily provide these as an addition to your total wedding package. Alternatively, cheese boards are also a popular option. Or, If you want to go down the path of desserts, either trays of our delectable mini desserts, or we could serve your own favourite ice creams to finish the night.

What do we need to have organised before we book a caterer?
HC Catering
Not alot! In an ideal world, it would be your chosen venue and your perfect date. But with HC Catering, even changes to those things can be worked with - subject to our avaiability if the date changes. We often suggest people secure us for thier date with a deposit, and then leave perfecting their menu till closer to the date once they've lcoked in other aspects of the day, Celebrants, DJ, Photographers etc.
