EatDrink Catering Byron Bay
Absolutely! But ensure you engage a recommended caterer who specialises in offsite catering - they know how to build a cost effective kitchen and deliver prompt, hot, delicious food to your guests.
The biggest expense in home catering is usually the associated hire costs - talk to your caterer or event planner about menus that keep your costs down. I often recommend generous cocktail style events which can reduce the need for marquees, tables and chairs for everyone, and intensive catering equipment.

Do we need to cater meals for our wedding suppliers?
Hi there. Wondering if we're supposed to cater meals for our wedding suppliers, and which suppliers are typically included? Need to factor into our budget.
EatDrink Catering Byron Bay
This depends on the length of time your supplier is working for you on the day, as well as any personal arrangement you may have made with that supplier. As a general rule most suppliers are working for a long period at your chosen venue, often with no option to get a meal other than what catering you have on site. This means catering should be provided for them - many suppliers expect it as standard practice. At Eatdrink we offer vendor meals at half price, and provide these after all guests have had their main meal.

Dietary concerns are often one of the first quetions clients raise with me when we delve into menu. Interestingly its one of the last details we actually need to deal with as the quoting process comes to finalisation. Eatdrink requires final menu to be in place approxiately 1 month out to ensure all hire requirements (especially large equipment items) can be secured. We require dietary requirements to be finalised about 1 week out to fit in with food ordering, prep and paperwork for the team on the day.
