They may very well be, but it's not their wedding my sweet - you go for what makes you and your partner happy!

I think as long as you have something to look at be it a cheese wheel wedding cake or a foam wedding cake most people would be happy with that. If your doing a desert buffet then cake might get wasted. At the end of the day it's all about what you what for your day not what everyone expects to see. At the end of the day if you are happy with how everything went then it doesn't matter what people think.

It is up to you as a bride whether you want a wedding Cake  or noy . As dessert will be served they probably wouldn't notice .

So happy planning

I made cupcakes for weddings, like wedding cakes. Cupcakes can be a great alternative to a wedding cake. Wedding guests will not be disappointed if you serve cupcakes instead of a wedding cake!

Its hard to say, I think having a cake, then the cutting ceremony together is very steeped in tradition, hence most people will still have a cake these days.

In saying that it's your special day to make as you want it, not others, so do what you and your partner want to do!

Good luck : )

I will be disappointed if you don't have a wedding cake! Just kidding! Your guests will be happy to be there and experience this wonderful moment with you and your partner. What the Menu consists of and whether of not there is a cake is not going to matter.

Enjoy your day!

Maybe Yes Maybe No

If you have guests who are into baking they maybe a little disappointed, but they will realize it is your wedding day and what ever suits you and hubby is the go.  Maybe you have thoughts of replaying cake with some new idea would be also good.

Hope this helps and all the best for your Wedding.
