does it cost more to have multiple flavours in a 3 tiered cake? each tier a different flavour?

Hi lovely! 

It depends on your cake artist - but personally we don't charge extra to have different flavours in your wedding cake (the only exception is to have fruit cake - which is much more expensive to make given the ingredients , baking time and also decorating time - I believe I've made only 4 fruit cakes in my 9 years in business though!) - you SHOULD have a variety and choice for your guests if that's what you'd like!

No i don't charge any extra, i actually  sometimes if I'm asked , I recommend if they like to do different flavors .  .

No absolutely not! I think it's a great idea to have variety in your cake flavours to appeal to all your guests tastes and dietary requirements.

With flavours to a wedding it realy depends on what type of wedding cake you are having.  I do not charge extra for different type and flavour of mud cakes or sponge cakes.  If you are having the traditional fruit the ingredients would be slightly more because you are using lots of nuts, alcohol and fruit etc.  Not too much more.

Hi.  At my shop depending on the flavours I charge the same, but sometimes it may differ an extra $50.00 dollars extra. It's not unusual to charge extra. If it was a choc spiced fruit cake or almond orange cake it would be extra.

hi, there are usually no different price to have  different flavors in 3 tiered cake for standard flavors. For some flavors might have bit different flavors due the ingredients on the cake ( almond cake or hazelnut cake). Hope it helps.
