No not really , what I would recommend is that maybe you give the cookies as a thank you and maybe do a smaller size cake then incorporate the Donuts and cake as a dessert. , but then again it is your special day so it's what your wanting to have ,

No it's not too much at all my sweet! It's your day and I've actually done Wedding Cake, macarons, cupcakes, cookies favours AND cake pops for a single wedding before. Donuts are a huge trend at the moment and people love them - especially those cool donut walls (have you seen them? all over instagram!)

Hi Sweet Tooth, as l tell all my Brides and Grooms, the day of your wedding is for you.
A day to spend with all your loved ones and You choose to share the things you love.
If that means having an overload of fantastic sweets, then this is what you do.
All you need to do is choose the right people to design a selection for you.

I have seen donuts as a popluar choice for an alternate to cake. A tower of cupcakes, or a tower of donuts what does it matter
How you would have cake cookies and donuts displayed is the question.
Which would be your main feature? would you have a beautifully decorated dessert table with the cookies and donuts and the cake on display for cutting
or do you want your donuts to be the feature main display with cookies and cake for guests on the dessert/lollie table
Congratulations on your Engagement! How exciting to be planning the Menu for your guests. You may like to consider a Dessert Buffet which can include the Wedding Cake, decorated cookies and donuts. No such thing as too much in my opinion! Your wedding is about what you like and want. Bring on the donuts! Hi!
This may depend on the style of wedding and the number of guests. An idea would be to have less cookies and cake so as you dont have too much left over.
Ultimately it is YOUR day and if you and your partner would like to have donuts, why not?!
