How are you meant to freeze your wedding cake?

Wrap it tightly in about 4 layers of gladwrap and place in the freezer.  Make sure it is airtight.

Do you do wedding cheesecakes?

Sorry, I don't do wedding cheesecakes

Are there gluten free options for cake?

After advice on gluten free options. Worried having a gluten free cake will result in no one eating the cake.

Dear Sir/Madam

I do do gluten free options and this either an orange or chocolate cake.  they are both very popular and extremely tasty, so can guarantee there will be people eating cake.  If you would like any further information, just let me know.

if i have a small wedding cake, do i have to buy another bigger cake to cut up and give out?

Dear Madam

Many thanks for your email regarding the size of your wedding cake. It really depends on the number of guests you are having. If you are having up to 80 guests, a 2 tier cake should be enough and the size of the cakes are 6" top tier and 8" bottom tier. All my cakes are 4 layers of cake with a chocolate ganache in between each layer and are approximately 5" high. If you would like a small wedding cake, but don't want it any larger, but have more guests you can have a 'kitchen cake' which is iced but not decorated and goes straight to the kitchen for cutting. If you would like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact me either via my easy weddings profile at no obligation.

do cake stands come with the wedding cake?

And cake topper? Or are those given back at the end?

Dear Luci, many thanks for your query/email. I certainly can lend you a cake stand and have about 5-6 to choose from. I don't have any cake toppers to borrow, these are usually either given to me by the bridal couple or I get these made to the specification of the couple getting married. Hope this helps and please do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further information.

Can I have a display cake made to cut, and then serve different cake?

Is this a common thing?

Thank you for contacting me regarding a wedding cake for you. You can certainly have a 'fake' wedding cake to 'ceremonially" cut and then have a slab or kitchen cake to cut up for guests. It really isn't much less in cost as you still have to decorate the fake cakes and make the other cakes and ice only leaving off the decoration. It may be a little easier to have a chat with you at no obligation and depends on how many people you are having. the more people it certainly is more cost effective to have a display cake and then have 'kitchen cakes' to have ready in the kitchen to be cut up. Hope this makes sense and look forward to hopefully speaking with you in the near future.

With kind regards
