I am a qualified florist and cake maker, I do not sub-contract any work out. Every detail is handled by me personally . A true one stop shop. I always go that extra mile for brides.

I love my work, what more can I say. What a great job creating wedding dreams. I am a qualified floral designer and have a qualification in interior design just to help any couple with colour choices and give them an image of how every little thing will look. What's the usual lead time on a wedding cake including tastings please?

It depends on the month of the wedding. Busy wedding months makes it a priority, People fill up with bookings very quickly. If they are purely a cake maker they can usually fit in another cake more easily. Cake tastings depend on how they offer their tastings. Those who have a snap freezer have samples available all the time. Those who do not should offer fresh and tend to do their tastings when they are making other cakes or have a dedicated cake tasting day.
What is the average cost of a cake tasting?
I'm Just wondering what a cake tasting should include if your vendor charges for the experience?

I never charge for cake tastings. I usually offer 3 cake flavours of the brides choice. Any more than that I charge $3.50 for any extra. This is a tasting for 2 people.
Do I cut the top tier or bottom tier of my wedding cake?
Hi, I have two questions in one. First of all, when cutting the cake, are we supposed to cut the top tier or the bottom tier? Secondly, which leg should the garter go on?

Bottom tier, especially if you are saving the top tier by freezing or other forms of storage. Once the icing seal has been broken the cake will not keep.
