OVERVIEW

Kay gained her amazing skills from her mother from the tender age of 13. At the age of 16 she decorated her own wedding cake and has made many cakes for friends and family since.

She opened her own cake decorating business in 1983 called Kay Maree Cake Decorating Shop where she also held classes for many cake decorating hobbyists.

She sold the business in 1989 due to health reasons but reopened in 1990 under the name Sugar and Lace and has been trading under the name ever since.

Kay creates beautiful cakes for weddings and special occasions as well as stunning sugar flowers which would even trick a bee into thinking they were real.

Kay makes beautiful cakes and executed our vision for a simple, understated cake with ease. Our selection of caramel mud flavouring was to die for and the cake stunning. Delivered to the reception venue on the day for a small fee, Kay took all stress out of trying to travel with a wedding cake and provided a product well-worth her reasonable prices!
