Hosting up to 80 guests, with 12 private bedrooms suites (sleeping up to 43 guests) will ensure your closest family and friends can share in the celebrations without compromising comfort. Each suite features luxe bedding, ensuite bathrooms, and private decks, making your stay as relaxing as the ceremony.
Two separate lounge areas, a glorious atrium sun room, extensive decking with amazing coastal views, indoor wood fire and outdoor firepit with seating, plus a central garden space perfect for ceremonies, The Cape Retreat lends itself to creating the most relaxing and luxurious wedding you have dreamed of.

Yes of course, we would love to give you the "grand tour" of the Cape Retreat.
As the property is heavily booked we do have limited days times available during the week, and generally try to slot these in between bookings around 11am.
As The Cape Retreat is such a sought after venue due to it's location and the ability to combine ceremony, reception and accommodation, we highly recommend reserving your dates well in advance to secure them.
Our pricing structure is quite simple, it's essentially your accommodation plus our flat rate event fee.
We work with a dyamic online pricing system dictated by season, public holidays, school holidays etc and these can easily be found online by keying in your dates or asking our responsive team for assistance with checking dates and prices fo you.
Yes abosolutely. The Cape is a self catering venue, designed for you to be able to choose the best caterer to suit your own tastes, style, and budget.
We are here to help if you would like some recommendations too.
Yes, you are most welcome to bring in the beverages of your choice. Whether you set up self service buffet style, or hire in a bar with staff is completely up to you.
The Cape is quite spacious and can very comfortably host around 80 guests for both stand up style cocktail events or a more formal sit down style.
Our main lounge area with views across the bay is cleared for this purpose.
We do allow smaller duets and groups at The Cape Retreat.
These have previously been staged in the main lounge, as an open cocktail style set up fast becoming a dancefloor. We request no excessive amplified speakers to keep in line with our noise rules.
