By negotiation I have travelled myself.  Generally the accommodation and flights are covered.  Have you considered a short ceremony in a private area at the airport prior to flying overseas.  This way everything is legal and you could then have a ceremony overseas with all your own wording.  You can't use the legal wording as such but it could be done in the same as a renewal of vows.  A close friend would most likely to do this for you.

I am the Celebrant with wings, I'll go anywhere. Well, actually I am also a Flight Attendant, so the title made sense:) Some Celebrants will charge for travel, be it  a hundred klm radius or ask to be flown to a wedding destination. I do not charge for travel, so call me. Cheers Ray

As long as they are in Australia Celebrants are able to legally perform ceremonies.  I performed a ceremony in New Zealand, however, the couple had presented to their Registry to have the "official ceremony" there first.

Hi! Yes, most celebrants would be excited to travel to destination to complete your day. You would just need to negotiate fees before hand as it would be different with travel involved.

Most celebrants would be thrilled to travel to perform a wedding but this comes at a price as you would be expected to cover travel expenses beyond 30kms. Especially if the destination is another country.

Absolutely ... I am happy to travel (with travel and accommodation covered). For international weddings, such as Bali or Fiji, the legal work must be completed within Australia prior to the destination 'wedding'.

Yes, most do or are open to it. For me I love to travel within south Australia an do many secluded and farm weddings. Any excuse for a road trip.

Yes! They certainly do.

Depending on the location they may ask that you cover part or some of their flights/accomodation. Each celebrant will be different but don't be afraid to be upfront and ask!

I do know of some celebrant friends who spend a month in places like Bali or Thailand each year for weddings!
