Hello, I am based in Melbourne and I think that each ceremony I do is special because I try to bring out the couples character with the ceremony whether it's a relaxed family back yard wedding, a formal wedding or a surprise wedding. All are lovely. If you want an amazing wedding a good idea is to think about each of the weddings you have attended and what you liked about each and why, that way you can pick what will suite you and your fiance. Hope that helps and have an amazing day.

I have loved every ceremony that I have had the pleasure to be performing.  My absolute favourite though was one where there was an element of surprise for the guests who thought they were going to a joint birthday party.

The ceremony was fun and light-hearted, one of the guests who had their guitar added a song to the ceremony, quite unexpected, the couples beautiful little daughter crawled under her mums dress and played peek-a-boo with guests and to top it off a group of sky divers dropped in just up the beach from us.  What a wonderful day.

HI there, what an interesting question.... All ceremonies are the best ones we have done, and for so many different reasons. I would love to say that the best one is the next one we do, as we, as celebrants, all continually strive to grow personally and professionally in the delivery of a quality service to our very special clients.

I love novelty themed ceremonies, whether they be a Lord of the Rings themed  wedding with me dressed as Gandalf; a 60's themed wedding with all of the traditional formalities of vows and "Here comes the Bride" and Wedding March tunes and all guests in costume or a fabulous piazza -styled event in summer with 4 food trucks supplying all of the meals and drinks to two long set tables with no seating plan or place cards. In this way, the guests came and ate what they wanted, when they wanted and sat next to whom they wished and moved around when it suited them.

All of these were the best ceremonies, to name a few, to date...and the best is probably yet to come...........Best of luck with yours

I have had some memorable ceremonies.

I like relaxed ceremonies, especially when children or animals are involved, farms, back yard weddings, and coming up at a motor cycle track I am looking forward to what antics they get up to afterwards

best wishes

Gosh ... that's a hard question.  I've been fortunate in Perth to have presided over many and varied weddings.  All special and memorable in their own way, so I couldn't say one is 'better' than another. An especially memorable ceremony was for a bride and groom who created a "Woodstock" music festival theme for their wedding.  Set on a rural farming property, it was just that and more! The stunning bride and her Dad arrived on the back of the farm ute. She wore lace and cowboy boots. The guests sat on hay bales.   Personal wedding vows (some heartfelt, some very funny!) had been pre-prepared, and drawn at random from a bucket by the Bride and Groom, and read out.  A ritual of jumping over a broom, ensured they "swept away their single lives and former concerns." All speeches and formalities were conducted within the ceremony, the brides' Dad having everyone in happy tears with his emotion-charged words.  The rest of the night was party-time. There were live bands, food trucks, bar stations.  No cutting of a wedding cake, instead the bride and groom jointly lit a massive bonfire, bigger than a bus, which kept all the guests warm into the night.  A favourite little touch was the sound of "Greensleeves" heralding the arrival of the one townsite Mr Whippee van! I've never seen adults (including me) run so fast to form a queue for an icecream late at night! Guests were asked to byo tent to camp overnight.  All woke up to the most magnificent "wedding recovery" bbq breakfast.

Hi, although i am not based in SA, I thought you may like to hear some ideas. My favorite style of wedding is the home farm or garden where everyone is very relaxed. My all time favorite was held on the banks of a dam on a farm where the family built a platform at the edge of the dam, where the entire family from both sides stood. To make it also more memorable i was joined by another celebrant that conducted the Budhist traditions. We finished the ceremony by the couple throwing stones into the dam, in which the ripples that the stones made joined to represent their new life together.

All the very best for your wedding.
