The big one is lodging your Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month before your wedding. After that, it’s just a matter of bringing the right ID and having two witnesses over 18 on the day. There are a couple of legal lines that need to be said during the ceremony—but don’t worry, I’ll handle all of that so you don’t have to memorise anything.
Not at all—but most couples end up wanting to once they realise how special it can be. If you’re keen, I’ll guide you through it so it doesn’t feel overwhelming (no cringe, no pressure). And if writing isn’t your thing, I’ve got plenty of options that still feel personal and meaningful.
