My passion for what I do means I will always go the “extra mile” to make sure my couple are happy and have a ceremony they will remember.

You will find me very approachable and friendly and I will listen to your special needs and requests. I will only officiate one ceremony a day. This is your day, your special moment so we will work together to create the type of ceremony you would like and one you will remember.

You will receive a ceremony booklet that gives you suggestions for readings, vows etc or together we can create your unique ceremony. always dress professionally and if your wedding is themed I am happy to dress accordingly.

About

I am passionate about what I do and I love officiating at my weddings! I have been a Marriage Celebrant for many years and my love for weddings started from I guess "my own wedding" and then I was a Wedding Photographer. I loved seeing the happy couples and families on their special day and thought I could maybe go one step further and actually Marry Couples! I feel very privileged to be asked to marry a couple and play that important part on their day.

What are your qualifications and experience?

I am a JP (Qual)
I have Public Liability Insurance and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
I abide by a Code of Conduct for Celebrants.
Have officiated at more than 2000 weddings.
I am a Member of ACQ which is the largest Queensland Association for Celebrants and on our Committee we have the Vice Chair of CoCa who is able to report to the Committee of any changes happening in the Celebrant World.

How do I choose my celebrant?

Choosing the right marriage celebrant is an important part of planning your wedding. It's important to work with someone with whom you feel comfortable, who suits your personality and gives you the best advice. On your wedding day your celebrant will perfect your day by being well presented and by speaking clearly.

Colleen helped us get organised with short notice to our elopement. We had a ball and Colleen was a big part of helping to make our day so much fun and relaxed, thank you Colleen 🥂😍
